FORMER AND CURRENT ADMINISTRATOR

Public administration is the cultivation of human race to organize society and it's capacity to direct it by virtue of laws and regulations. It pushes communities to achieve a common goal that is public oriented (Calden 1982 as cited in Brillantes and Fernandez 2005).The administration we have is considered as our major institution in education ,politics and government. Philippine government we had is a republic with a presedential form of government where in power is equally divided along it's 3 branches : executive, legislative and judicial.

President Benigno Aquino lll is known for its platform , which is to improve quality of life of every Filipino, especially the poor and the vulnerable one , which is their priority. During their administration they are known for their line "no one must be left behind in the straight path to progress".

During Aquino's presidency , he signed RA 10606 ( An act amending the national health insurance act of 1995), which mandates the provision of comprehensive health care need. This was our former president did , the universal health insurance covering in the Philippines. K to 12 basic education program also started during his time , their aim is to expand curriculum to provide sufficient time for mastery of concept of skill and developing life long learners.Also the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4P's), this was started during their administration.

In terms of the purchasing power of the citizens during his time , GDP growth average 6.2% yearly , even peaking at 7.2% when the country was the 2nd fastest growing economy in the Asia after China. Purchasing power of the Filipino citizenz remains unchanged since 2013. This is despite government figures the latest being the 6.1% growth on domestic product in 2014.

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte , our current leader is known for its war on drugs campaign and anti corruption campaign and we all know that this administration also focuses on changing our country into a better one and is known for his tag line "change is coming " . His administration re assured about his promises on public to sustain the previous administration's momentum for social development.

This administration highlights the human development approach the PDP , aims to implement government "politics, plans and programs anchored on the people's collective vision", to uplift the living of every individual , induce the expansion of the middle class and achieve a society "where no one is poor ". Many programs implemented by today's administration one of those is the AMBISYON 2040, that sum up the living aspirations of most Filipinos and the development of nation. Their are a lot of programs implemented by our president which are very beneficial to us , especially the free tuition in every Universities , which is most Filipinos are availing this. During this administration the social services sector had accounts for the largest bulk of the budget at 1.495 trillion, or 36.5% of the nation's budget , to fund human Capital development programs in education, health, and social protection. In terms of the purchasing power, they implemented the tax reform for acceleration and inclusion (TRAIN) law in which it changed the exice tax of different products and changed the personal income tax (PIT),estate tax,donors tax, value added tax and documentary stamp. The administration has its program called "Build , Build, Build" it hits the Philippines peso , it aims to usher the "Golden age of infrastructure" in the Philippines , which offer a lot of jobs to the Filipinos. President Duterte promise and guarantee Filipino busineswomen to support them in the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The president lead the 10th Filipino Entrepreneurship Summit at the world trade center in Pasay City. The DTI creates a policy towards achieving inclusive and sustainable growth that generates more opportunities for employment and Entrepreneurship in the country . The Inclusive Innovation Industrial Strategy (i3s) was formulated, it aims growing innovative and globaly competitive manufacturing agriculture and services. This two leaders we have has its different way of leading the country but has the same goal and intention. They both did their part as a father and leader of our nation we cannot judge them in their way and plans on running the country. Leading a very big organization is not easy it requires a lot of responsibilities handed on you so that we should not underestimate them , even sometimes they commit lapses but still they had contributed on our country. Both administration brought changes on our economy and brought development on our economy , yet I can say that our present leader and administration has more economicaly development due to its ways and the way he ruled and his effective leading that becomes the reason to have a fast result in development.

Singapore is one of worlds country who have the most prosperous nation, with a business friendly regulatory environment and has the lowest unemployment rate. According to economic freedom it is the only country in the world that is considered economically free in every index category.

Democracy is political system that stating all citizens in a particular country has the right and privilege in participating in making decisions and choices. It is ruled by a single party who's power and voice are the citizen of a particular country.

The air and water in Singapore are generally clean . According to the survey made by expatriates living in Asia , Singapore are one of the cleanest country. Despite being ranked as cleanest country , Singapore also is facing also major environmental issue like industrial pollution, limited fresh water resources and seasonal smoke and haze resulting from forest fire in Indonesia, limited land availability present wastes disposal problems. Singapore also has its lowest ranking nation's in environmental sustainability. Because of its rapid economic growth , increase in water and air pollution also exist.

Environmental issues Singapore is facing are caused by having bigger industries and business that uses materials and leaves so much waste on air. Land or by water . Since Singapore is one the nation's who have its prosperous business and trades and a friendly business nation that's according to (2020 index of economic freedom). We can say that Singapore owns and holds lot of business and different types of business that enables them to be a wealthy nation. Because of democracy trades are widely known and use because of the privilege and right given to us. Democracy gaves and opens opportunities on business to trade in different countries making ways to move Barrie's to cross beyond boarders to make trades. It is known for its booming economy and expecting more trades coming from different countries, and different businesses entering Singapore to invest and make business because many entrepreneurs know that Singapore is a pro-business environment.

Singapore government made efforts and solutions in their issue .they made laws and established anti-pollution unit to protect environment , they also made pollution control department the one responsible in air , water pollution, hazardous materials and toxic wastes. Their government take alot of steps to protect the citizen of their country. In my insight I could recommend that their government should identify those biggest industry and business who made and leaves wastes the most and should implement orders on how they will lessen their wastes since it cannot be eradicate.also small business and all the business who will be the cause of the pollution. Since they have implemented rules in vehicles in controlling pollution they should focus on the one who contributed the most on their issue or problem.

TODAY'S GLOBALIZATION

Q1. What is meant by globalization and how has it affected your personality?

is a word meant to use to describe a particular country about it's growing economy, merging cultures and practices as well as it's growing and increasing population. Moving barriers and making ways to cross beyond boarders to make trade and investment with the opposite country.

Globalization brought an effect to our individual personality ,it is because , globalization is the reason why most of the things around us makes it lighter and easier. It really affect my personality as a student it is because globalization is the reason why we have an access of internet whom we are or I am using right now amidst this pandemic to cope up with online classes and comply in online activities we had. It is the reason why we have those things that makes our work more faster and lighter and with that it affects our personality as a student's , as humans and as the one who utilizes globalization. Though it also brings both good and bad effect on our personality but it only dependy on utilizing bits purpose and use .

Q2. Among the main drivers of globalization which do you think has contributed more to the acceleration of globalization ? Why do you think so ?

We are all drivers of globalization the one who consume, manufacture,make the goods and services and all who comprises the word globalization. But I think the one who contributed the most as what I have observed today is technology . Technology really contributed more in Globalization it is because it makes the whole process easier and faster. As what we can see and observe in this generation most things run and operates by technology,things become more lighter and faster from manual to electronic things really gets easier . Because of technology many things become possible to happen and that's why globalization accelerates rapidly as technology works and makes it purpose faster it has a domino effect on globalization as well.

Q3.Why do you think the global economy is in constant state of change ? Are there consequences and benefits to such changes ? Explain and cute personal experience.

I think because change is constant that as well as globalization do have its constant change its changes is brought by the demand, supply , interest rates and income and all the factors that may affect the global economy to make it constantly change. Also we should consider the natural calamities , the crises , disasters and of course this pandemic we have right know we should consider it as the reason why their is a constant change in global economy.Natural calmities that we don't expect to come and make the whole economy change. I should use this pandemic we are experiencing right now as an example, this pandemic or crisis really brings big changes on the our global economy that we are not expecting . Many establishments and businesses are closed and didnot operate even small business that leads to jobless individual and most of us today are earning less of an normal earning.This situation puts our global economy into a big change that brings bad effect on it . Some changes are not that bad but can also be beneficiary on our global economy.
