˞͛ʕ,,Ծ‸Ծ,, ʔ˞͛ — Maybe she'd been a bit too straightforward with the compliment, the blush on the other's cheeks quite evident. She wasn't really one to give compliments out of praise, but out of honesty. Sometimes it was more of a statement than a compliment but allowing people to take it in such a way seemed to please them much more. Toma gave a nod in response to his rather small and quite obviously flustered reply. She'd decided to ignore however weird that reply would be in reality since it was easily told he was a bit too embarrassed by the compliment in the first place to respond normally.

Well it made sense that he'd feel that way, but ignoring it was probably the best way to help him keep his pride intact. Gaze trailing from the wall she'd been staring at for awhile now to look at Makoto, she paused, staring at him in silence for a moment. She wasn't really one to respond to something like that as he just did to her compliment. It didn't fit her reputation at least. “Sure.” Toma replied slowly.

Worry that a tint of red may have appeared on her cheeks bubbled up– but she made sure to suppress any feeling as such. Although, she wouldn't simply surpass a cup of coffee. And stalling having to walk home alone was always the way to go for her. In all honesty– she didn't really like her lonely apartment.

Blushing up to the tip of his ears, Makoto ducked his head down in order to hide it, and laughed uneasily at the compliment. He was never one to be complimented a lot of the time, so it still came as a surprise to hear someone say something of the sort. His grip on the pencil tightened momentarily, as he tried to regain his composure in order to look at the girl again. Taking in a big gulp of air, Tachibana straightened himself and tried to look as normal as he could manage.

"Th-thank you," he croaked out "I’m glad you like it?" He didn’t know what to say, that was for sure, but he hoped this hadn’t sounded as weird to her as it did to him. Thinking a bit about her question, Makoto turned to look down at the form and noticed he had two questions left. Sighing contentedly, he nodded "Yeah, just these two and I’ll be ready."

After a while of thinking of the right answer, Tachibana turned to look at the girl, looking a bit sheepish “Hey, Toma? What do you say we go grab a coffee or something so I can thank you for keeping me company?”
