I know it's been years (apologies for that) but I hope you and the fandom still get to enjoy this ♥️

When going through my forever unfinished hwanghan sketches, I came across this one, which was drawn exactly 2 years ago.

Since then I've tried mutiple times to “finish” it or render it beyond a sketch, but I felt like nothing came close to the gracefulness (and imperfection) that only the sketch holds.

Still there lied unfinished in my procreate folder one OK attempt at a digital painting of sorts, playing with light (which I'm still learning). But the foreshortening of the pose was NOT helping and their faces looked weird (I'm looking at you, Si Mok 😩).

So today I decided I would make a collab with my two-years-ago self and finally get it to a finish line! (is it ever over, though?)

It's not perfect but it feels good to finish something and learn from the process, even if it's taken two years.

Honestly I'm just super happy I get to draw these secretly married bbs in situations we wish were canon 😉
