I found the surviving specimens, have mercy

I had a whole system lol I'd draw something and then take a picture so I could trace it with my finger and color it in (no fill tool). I figured out how to do custom colors and color pick in markup and then I'd pick a darker tone to shade and a lighter one for highlights after all that I'd take a copy of the linework I'd pasted into another photo and put it back over the colored version so the lines weren't all colored over (it was all one layer) I remember multiple times losing an hours or more worth of work because markup just wasn't made for this lol. Or I'd close without saving my friends were begging me to get an actual drawing program out of concern for my sanity

Throwback to the time in seventh grade english class where we were taking some dumb reading comprehension test and the material we were given was this "short play" about "sherlock holmes" and I got so ticked off because the idiot writer behind this awful "short story" was depicting Dr John Watson as an absolute buffoon, an oaf of a man. And so middle school me writes a whole paragraphs-long rant in the margins to my english teacher all about how John Watson is a medical doctor and an army veteran and the one with all the common sense and how the author of this rip off probably hadn't ever even read the source material because his take was just so so terrible I don't even remember the grade I got for that test, I just remember the righteous fury and the scribbling pencil Anyways I'm an unapologetic John Watson stan and I always will be

I was given an eyeshadow palette for christmas. Its lovely, but what gets me is the shade that they named, "whimsical". its beige. its just tannish beige. the least whimsical color out there. Its aggressively neutral. It is arguably the opposite of whimsical anyway my new thing now is that whenever I spot something vaguely grayish-tannish-brownish-beigeish I say "Its whimsy colored!"

I will inevitably confuse someone with this. Looking forward to that.

We deserve a modern robin hood adaptation. Like, come on. I'm talking robin hood and the merry men taking on capitalist overlords and helping people keep food on the table, keep utilities running, paying off debts, covering rent--we get wire fraud, identity theft, grand larceny, breaking and entering, etc etc, plus a healthy dose of derring-do, witty banter, and good old fashioned fun.
