i wanted to see jinx help her sister through her depression, alcoholism, and self-destructive arc in the show. i wanted it to have more impact and help vi grow into a character.
similarly, i wish we had seen vi pick jinx up from the shattered pieces of her emotional psyche.
i wish we could’ve had the sisters’ bond been more tended and nurtured to throughout the show, with each one putting in the work and love to help one another.
i don’t say jinx/powder or vi were perfect by any means in s1 (some mistakes graver than others) but there was no mistaking they loved one other deeply and truly.
it would’ve been so lovely see that be the driving force for the healing of both sisters. driven apart by misunderstandings and circumstances, coming together by choice.
