Tristan was knighted about six years ago, and Darius before that. They were already training seriously with Father when I was born, but I grew up training with them. Between that and Grandfather’s stories of all the great and honorable Knights, the perilous quests, the righteous battles … becoming a Knight was all I ever wanted. I spent my childhood defending the Northfields against the hordes and fighting black-hearted dragons and forever falling in battle after landing a final, fatal blow.” 

Rowan laughed quietly, his next thought causing him to hide his face behind his hands before sliding them down his chin to grin shyly at Kestrel. “I laid myself in stately repose all over the Northfields. If you had come across me then, you could have drawn me heroically mouldering away in my tomb.”

An older sketch that I came across while cleaning my Yarn Cave this month. Orbital Redux was an 8-episode show, each ep filmed live in one take. Such a cool concept and the cast was excellent.
