Another Disco Elysium fanfiction I don't really like is "Harry hates paperwork and is always trying to get out of it" with its corollary "Harry's paperwork is an incomprehensible mess" and of course the ever present "and Kim has to cajole him and or/clean up his mess" (grrrr)

Like, the man reads his old casenotes for fun. Harry Du Bois loves words more than anything else on god's miserable earth and he goes into hyperfocus.

I'm not saying he enjoys it, it's still a chore, but what's far more likely to happen is he gives a big sigh, sits down to do his paperwork and then six hours later Judit politely attracts his and Kim's attention because neither of them has looked up, let alone eaten, drunk or used the bathroom the whole time and frankly she's getting a bit unnerved.
