How to Help

to recreate this project, start with flyers and donation boxes all around campus. Then, do more than one day of standing in hallways or going around campus and selling baked goods, taking donations, and informing everyone about how important this is. making a poster was really helpful in getting people’s attention. Making and handing out goodie bags filled with pads, tampons, and chocolates with fact sheets attached also helped get the word out. picking an organization or two is important. local homeless shelters and domestic violence shelters are a great place to look. I Support The Girls is also one to look into. Leave the boxes out for a while and tell everyone you can about it. People are more willing to help than you would expect when they hear how important it is.
