i find it so fascinating though because yoru has been using pretty much all the same tactics makima had used to control denji but unlike makima we know that yoru does care about denji. We know asa is blending into yoru more than yoru is blending into asa, calling herself "asa's other personality" pretty much 24/7. she defaults to quick physical gratification because it's the only frameworks of human affection she grasps being part of asa.

devils survive off fear. human fear, pain, and suffering is what they subsist off and exist to spread. denji's pain and fear would then be something that yoru wants, especially because she wants to defeat chainsaw man and make him her weapon.

HOWEVER. even though yoru talks about turning chainsaw man into a weapon, she's been more invested in teaching denji what it means to be a devil.

these last few chapters have also made a point of showing us yoru's face in cases where denji's life is in danger, and it seems like she doesn't want to lose him?

makima only saw pochita, but yoru likely sees denji as well because asa sees denji.

the way to save chainsaw man isn't to separate him, it's to keep him whole.
