Already the first vote hadn't gone as planned, the tracking chip had been discovered, and now he had to think of another way. If other players were casting glances askance his way for stirring things up, he made no notice of them as he queued up for food— a dosirak box and water, then took a seat on the metal stairs leading up to his bunk. He placed both on the bunk beside him and promptly forgot about them. When the others circled up around him, he tried to answer their questions as honestly and completely as possible. However, even after the others left with their curiosities satisfied, it seemed one of theme wasn't as convinced.

Gihun's eyes lifted from the '001' patch on the tracksuit jacket to appraise the face belonging to its owner. Brow twitched almost imperceptibly as he held that gaze a moment longer, waiting to see if the man was truly finished. "No," he lowered his eyes to the floor below. "It's natural to be curious." He exhaled glumly, unable to find better words. "I came back to put an end to the game. For good."

If the first vote could be considered a near-victory, the second came nowhere close. More than a few minds— several, in fact, would need to change. How was he supposed to convince them to end the games when he couldn't even convince his own best friend...? It was difficult to focus with Jungbae sulking close by and the others watching for his reaction or waiting for answers. Answers he did not have presently. He broke from their group to go up to the restroom—

— It was the only other non-restricted area and the quieter room between the two when it was nearly empty, which it was now. In spite of that, Gihun's mind still thundered. He gripped the sides of the nearest sink and tried forcing the thoughts into a single line. It was useless, however.

He had no recollection of how much time had passed before he heard the man from the opposite end of the sinks. It was just the two of them there now. Alarmed, Gihun's eyes scudded from the '246' player number patch to the other man's face. They didn't know each other; he relaxed but only a little, turning back to the sink. The words clung to his chest as if knowing better than to ask, turned to gravel in his throat, "Do you have something to go back to... or someone?"
