Trickster: I’m the toaster repairman.
Impulse, who’s from the 30th century: That sounds fake but I don’t have enough information to call you out on it.

everytime I get reminded that Evan is scottish i just lose my mind imagine being Flash and all of a sudden you gotta deal with a dude with a thick scottish accent and the aussie whose slang terms you’ve only just begun to understand

Digger and Evan having a podcast together is the best thing I’ve ever thought of cuz it’s just two criminals with thick foreign accents answering questions and getting into a deep hour long discussion about which hero has a fursona

Look who showed up in a recent issue of the Swedish JLU Magazine! And yes, it is definitely Evan; it’s mentioned that he’s from Glasgow.
So it looks like someone at DC remembers him!

some things I want everyone to remember when writing the Rogues: Mick Rory has a mental illness and being with the Rogues helps him deal with that. Back in some of the older comics he used to share an apartment with Barry.
In the Justice League cartoon James also had a mental illness, one that he took medication for and when he was off said meds he went back to “wearing the suit” and doing crimes. Wally sat down with him and patiently talked him into turning himself in so he could go back to getting the help he needed.
Leonard, Lisa and Digger all grew up with abusive, alcoholic fathers. Hartley is a gay man who was born deaf and grew up surrounded by ableism and homophobia. It was Lisa who gave him the courage to come out to the Rogues. He quit as a villain because he realized his heart was never in it and, while getting his life back on track, shared an apartment with Barry until he moved in with his boyfriend, David Singh.
Evan was given up for adoption because his parents were too young to care for him. The first time he killed someone he was 8 years old because an older boy in the orphanage tried to molest him. Despite everything he still sends a portion of all the money he makes to the orphanage where he grew up.
The Rogues are “silly villains” yes but a lot of them have childhood traumas and I feel like that doesn’t get talked about enough.

Remember in Suicide Squad, when El Diablo told his story? Captain Boomerang interrupts the silence asks “and the kids?” And when Harley states the obvious- that El Diablo had killed them aswell- this is his face:
I am convinced that this Digger has already had Owen. That is the face of a man absolutely HORRIFIED at the idea of a father killing his children. Digger isn’t exactly a model father, but when it comes to his son, he always wants to protect him, never hurt him.
