Exploring your own city

So often to do we all get caught up in daydreaming about the next exotic adventure we're gonna have, zip lining through the rainforests of Brazil, BASE jumping off a tower in New Zealand or soaking up the sun on the beaches in Thailand, that we forget to explore our very own surroundings. While I still put money away to continue my exploration of the world I find myself reveling in the fact that my very own city is becoming an oasis filled with unique gems to explore and love. The old brick houses turned local hang out spots are the perfect blend of past and present. I can't wait to discover more!

I love this! During my trip to London this past December, my boyfriend and I decided to add a Pub Crawl to a day of site seeing... It was definitely one of my favorite memories of London.

I feel like blogging about pubs is a generic London topic. But you know what? There’s a reason. Pubs are great. Honestly, I am going to miss them the most out of all the cultural regularities we simply don’t have in the states. I don’t think I will ever understand why we don’t have them, but I’m...

A great way to enjoy the day.

For the past two and a half years I have been the Andy Sachs to a male version of Miranda Priestly from the Devil Wears Prada. Running around trying to get the unpublished Harry Potter manuscript was a typical day in the office... Talk about 24/7 stress! Well I have FINALLY thrown my cell phone into that gorgeous Parisian fountain and am off to find a new adventure... Eeek! Wish me luck!
