Here’s an example of detransformative work:
Green Hills is a classic science fiction novel, often used in middle school English classes, about Dr. Ivo, a scientist who, after discovering a way to directly translate life into electricity, is faced with the moral dilemma of sacrificing nature for the good of human progress. It has a tragic ending of him ultimately deciding to forsake nature altogether.
(With reference to this post here.)
I hope you understand that the notion of a piece of Heinleinian juvenile SF where the protagonist is Doctor Robotnik is objectively terrifying.

David Bowie died on this date, January 10th, in 2016, two days after his 69th birthday and two days after he released his final album, Blackstar (which Bowie recorded as a goodbye, knowing he was dying of cancer). His death hit me hard, as it did for legions of his fans. I bought Blackstar on vinyl on its release date, and I was stunned when Bowie passed away two days later.

I have a wonderful memory of seeing the Bowie movie Moonage Daydream in 2022 at the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta, with the audience singing along and people dancing in the aisles. It was very much like a blessing, a religious experience.

Guy the Cat with Bowie's Bookshelf: The Hundred Books that Changed David Bowie's Life, by John O'Connell. Bowie was a voracious reader.

nuclear power is impressive until you get up to why. "we use the most precisely engineered machinery ever created to split atoms to release energy" oh yeah how come? "boil water to turn a fan" get the fuck out

Today, Timmy’s father passed away. All because my dumb edit I made back in November reached Butch Hartman and he believed it.

Would you agree that AI has the potential to be a great tool for artists to use?
A great tool that has amazing potential for an artist to use would be the strap I bought last week to fuck your mom with.

70 people??? How big is this goddamned bar? Are there enough properly illuminated exits? I’m checking for OSHA violations.
It's a normal size and the exits all have those glowy signs above them
