I should've never watched and read jjk bc it's ruined my life
Anime and manga spoilers ‼️‼️
Can we talk about how beautiful the scenery was in the last episode? Satoru's enlightment was done so perfectly. The way he felt really adds so much weight onto being the strongest. To be strong isn't to just be able to trample over others, it's to tune in with the world.
The scene where Satoru leaves with Amanai made me cry. On Suguru's side, it was blue. Like he was trying to attract Satoru back, referencing Satoru's blue. On Satoru's side, it was red, repelling Suguru unconsciously. It was clear that they were no longer the strongest, it was just Satoru. Everything felt right for him, but when he reached the point of perfection, everything crumbled down for Suguru.
We see that Suguru eventually takes on Satoru's ideologies and leaves behind his will to find meaning, whilst Satoru starts to see what Suguru always saw. Although to Satoru there is no meaning, he now understand what it means to be the strongest and why he should protect the weak regardless of what happens. Sorcerers live to protect the innocent people that are blissfully unaware of the cruelty of the world.
Suguru finds it unfair; those who don't even know what it takes to exorcise, especially in his manner, were clapping and joyfully expressing their thanks to Amanai's death. All of which leads onto his change of views and downwards spiral. He finds himself struggling to find meaning, and realizes that his ideals were 'wrong'. While they are right for the innocent people like Amanai, ungrateful monkeys like those who wish to see the world crumble and perish should not be saved.
Whether he'd kill them or not doesn't matter anymore, everything's already happened and it's done. He no longer was who he used to be, all in the span of a couple of days.
I hate SatoSugu (coping)

Jjk spoilers
In all honesty, I'm not suprised that Suguru was the one that drifted off onto a different path and not Satoru or Shoko.
Satoru was born with the six eyes and his fate was set onto a road starting and ending inside of the jujutsu society. His reason of existence is simply to exorcise and save those who fall in the hands of curses. Nothing more, nothing less.
Although not much is known about Shoko, we've seen how she acted towards Suguru becoming a curse user, calling it stupid, hinting onto the fact that her will as a sorcerer was naturally strong. Not only that, but unlike those who act on the front lines, she's a doctor and one of the very few people that can use reverse cursed technique.
Suguru was said to be kind, which is something to be taken for granted in the series. (Yuuji for example, regardless of how kind he stays, he wouldn't be rewarded with anything). In a world full of losses and despair, his kindness would be tainted just like everything else. To add more weight onto him, he never had a family that could support his ideologies and his sense of direction in life, unlike Satoru (and maybe Shoko).
After the events of the storyline, only Suguru became conflicted. Satoru stayed the same for the most part; instead, he could be considered to have become a better (stronger) version of himself. Suguru stayed behind and couldn't find his way out of his conflicting ideologies, ending up as the way he became.
He lost his kindness, only sparing it for those worthy protecting sometimes.
Perhaps the things also turned out the way they came to be because Suguru wasn't as special as Satoru and Shoko. Satoru was born in the Gojo clan and possessed the six eyes, Shoko was a reverse cursed technique user that could also use it on others.
Suguru never had any abnormal abilities, and the only thing he gained eventually was the title of a special-grade sorcerer. He was talented, but to be considered special in the area he was in required much more than talent alone.
I love Suguru

JJK CHAP 226 SPOILERS
The SatoSugu and ItaFushi parallels are wild mane
Yuuji and Satoru are both gonna fight the opposites of their counterpaths (Satoru is fighting Megumi, Yuuji has fought 'Suguru' and is set up to fight him again probably). They make me so miserable.
Yuuji and Satoru are so alike it makes me cry. They've experienced countless of losses that they wish they could mourn forever, but can't due to their respective paths as essentially a protector. The way they'd take everything the world throws at them to save a singular person they treasure. Yuuji and Satoru both got cut up but never fell on their knees. No matter what happened, they kept pushing forward.
Which can't be said about Suguru and Megumi. Due to unfortunate events (both of which have close ties to what they endear the most), they suffered to despair and succumbed to it. Suguru began following a path that was full of blood and death, and Megumi is in the same position, although unwillingly. Not to mention, both of their bodies are currently possessed.
It's also worth mentioning that they've all fought their opposites and counterpaths once. The beginning of the series starts off with Satoru vs Sukuna/Yuuji, followed up by Megumi vs Sukuna/Yuuji. Before the main timeline, Satoru already fought Suguru and later on in Shibuya fights him again as Kenjaku. And right after that, Yuuji faced off against Suguru/Kenjaku.
I've mentioned this before, but SatoSugu and ItaFushi just fit right into each other. Each duo fills in what the other lacks, and each duo shows what happens in different scenarios.
SatoSugu were both up for greatness. Satoru as the born genius, and Suguru as his ability to match the anomaly Satoru is.
ItaFushi, on the other hand, wasn't. Though directly and indirectly were they up for the same amount of prosperity as SatoSugu, neither of them experienced acknowledgement or anything of the sort until later on.
Just as SatoSugu's fate changed by the hands of Toji, the same happened with ItaFushi and Sukuna.
Had Toji never intervened, Satoru and Suguru wouldn't have split up. Had Sukuna not been incarnated within Yuuji, Megumi and Yuuji wouldn't have met and neither of them would get their soul crushed by him.

I hate Gege more for not showing off how ripped Gojo is w his whole torso out

Jjk chap 221 spoilers
I'M GOING INSANE GOJO UNBOXING? AFTER 3 YEARS? MORE THAN 1100 DAYS OF WAITING?
SatoSugu makes me fucking miserable, and ItaFushi makes me miserable too. The first thing that albino bitch does it go to wherever he feels Suguru's presence and confront Sukuna and Kenjaku.
Then he rearranges the final battle to December 24th? Because he wouldn't want 2 death anniversaries? He takes a risk of not immediatly taking care of them, probably only thinking of Suguru at the moment of his words. He'll definitely kill Suguru this time, and he'll actually be able to mourn his death this time, because all this time he had been 'alive'.
Satoru's and Megumi's dynamic make me want to cry too. He immediatly confront Sukuna but doesn't even bother addressing him, all he says is that Megumi has changed. I honestly see hope in his words; rather than saying Sukuna has completely taken control of Megumi, all that happened was 'change'.
Which also reminds me of Yuuji basically dedicating his all to saving Megumi right now. Yuuji once mentioned that he wouldn't let Satoru fight Sukuna alone, and now this promise will come true.
It's also really fitting that Satoru will fight Megumi as Sukuna, carrying on the legend of the Zen'in and Gojo family being on 'bad terms', instead of them finally coming together and fighting Yuuji as Sukuna together for instance.
Eitherway I'm going to cry and kms bc fuck you Gege I'm becoming miserable

I hate ItaFushi (biggest lie ever told)
Jjk spoilers
Honestly just thinking about how we've only seen Megumi smile when around Yuuji. The way he smiled mid culling game when the new rule got added, knowing it was Yuuji makes me cry. Like you experienced a massacre 3 weeks ago and now you're basically in a genocide game why are you smiling?
Yuuji and Megumi are so the golden retriever and black cat duo. Not in the corny 'cute innocent x mysterious cunning' way. Golden retrievers are said to be family dogs, by nature they're not aggresive, but would protect their family if violence is needed, which fits Yuuji. Black cats are said to be perceptive, calm and reserved, compassionate and smart, which definitely fits Megumi.
They're also definitely the sun and moon. Yuuji is ever so positive and optimistic, shining brightly amongst the other things in society, but when dawn nears, he can sink into despair. However, as dawn nears, the moon appears and his job to be bright is taken over by the moon; by Megumi. Although he's not as bright as the sun, he's still a source of light and happily carries on the sun's brightness.
Yuuji and Megumi complete each other like no one else could. Yuuji is morality and Megumi is rationality. Yuuji is empathetic and Megumi is compassionate. Yuuji is strong and Megumi is smart. Yuuji lacks a cursed technique and Megumi makes up for it. Whatever they lack, the other has it and lends their ability to the other.
Can Akutami end their suffering already and just make them live in an appartment in Tokyo with 2 goldfish, a cat and a dog. Every Friday they go out with Nobara and Satoru to drink and the next morning they somehow always wake up in their closet together (homosexuals istg)

I'M SO DONE I'M STARTING AN AKUTAMI GEGE HATE CLUB
Jjk spoilers
Not only does Gege absolutely hate SatoSugu, but they also fucking hate ItaFushi. How much suffering do these mfs have to endure istg.
Quite literally has been taken from Megumi.
First, his family. He was born without a mother and his father left him and his sister. Luckily, Satoru took him in and raised him to be a 'normal' civilian, but also into a capable sorcerer with one of the most powerful cursed techniques in history that also belongs to one of the three big clans.
Second, his high school years, considering he somewhat had an 'okay' childhood. Obviously it was his decision to ultimately become a sorcerer, but considering his desire to help his sister, he didn't have much of a choice. And fundamentally, being 'blessed' (cursed) with such a powerful technique, he wouldn't have much of a choice.
Third, his friend(s) and mentor/father figure. He lost every companion he had made, whether they are dead or have drastically changed. They're not the same as they were before. The Shibuya Incident changed everyone and everything. Nobara is most likely dead, Toge lost his arm, Maki is out for destruction, but most importantly, Yuuji has been sinking into despair and Satoru is sealed.
Fourth, the aforementioned praised cursed technique he had, is now Sukuna's to wield after he took over his body. His 'pride' and very own life have been taken, the only thing he might get back is his life if he somehow controls Sukuna.
Last but not least, when he finally got his sister back and supposedly succeeded in saving her, it wasn't even her that he saved. It was an incarnated sorcerer that wishes to fight the very same person that possesses him now.
Megumi lost everything he had, and will most likely not live until he can finally have something. The way Megumi and Satoru are so similar hurts my soul. If they'd never been born with their 'blessed' techniques, they wouldn't have to suffer with all of this.
And Yuuji too, just like Megumi he never had an actual family. When his last relative died, catastrophe after catastrophe followed. From the moment he's seen the Jujutsu World, he lost the life he once had and returning to what it once was is impossible. He was cursed with the will to protect, whether that's his own nature or due to his grandfather's last words.
I'm going to cry

ItaFushi and SatoSugu brainrot wildin today tbh
Jjk spoilers
The way Yuuji resembled Suguru at first, but now that Megumi is possessed by Sukuna, he resembles Satoru.
Let's start off with the similarities between Yuuji and Suguru.
Young Suguru had the same sense of justice as Yuuji, and wanted to save whoever he could from cursed spirits. As a sorcerer, it's his job to protect non-sorcerers.
Additionally, Yuuji and Suguru both experienced traumatic events that changed their views of the world and suffered from great despair. Though, unlike Suguru, Yuuji didn't strive onto a different path due to the mental help he received, which Suguru didn't have because he kept it to himself. Yuuji accepted it, Suguru went a different way.
Their most obvious similarity is the possession of their body. Both of their bodies are vessels to great evil, but it's the way they act under possession that bears those similarities. When we see Kenjaku confronting Satoru, Satoru calls out Suguru's name and for a brief moment, it's as if Suguru is there. The way he grabbed his neck, almost his own jaw, looks exactly the same as Yuuji taking back his own body from Sukuna. And both of them are suprised that such a thing was possible. (It's also ironic how Yuuji and Suguru both have a connection to Kenjaku.)
The most important resemblance is how they smile with their eyes closed tho
Now, onto Megumi and Satoru.
Both Megumi were born in one of the three big clans. Not only that, but they both possess the signature techniques of the clans (lowkey ironic how it's a ten shadows user and six eyes user). They were born with a bright future ahead of them, yet they weren't destined to live a happy life, considering they're only known for their abilities. Megumi was almost sold, Satoru has always been shouldering a lot of pressure.
Although Satoru basically taught Megumi a lot, they still have a lot of similar views. They believe they should save whoever they want to save, it's only a little different for Satoru because he's the strongest, giving him the responsibility to save everyone.
The same applies to Yuuji and Suguru, but Megumi and Satoru both had their youth robbed away from them. And they basically have no one left. Satoru lost his one and only. Megumi never had a real family, and the only family he had left are both gone (Tsumiki is cursed and Satoru is sealed).
With the new chapter, the roles have reversed though.
Yuuji now seems to resemble Satoru. After his 'one and only' gets possessed by the very curse he was supposed to be a vessel for, he'll be forced to kill him, just like how it went for Satoru and Suguru.
As for Megumi, it's quite clear that he resembles Suguru in the way of being possessed.
Eitherway ItaFushi is never escaping the SatoSugu curse even if the roles are reversed
Also I'd like to add that the trio is also very similar to each other. Nobara and Suguru are both dead (Nobara is probably dead stop coping), Megumi and Satoru are from a big clan and aren't likely to survive (Satoru getting unsealed when), Yuuji and Shoko are the only ones left alive and share close ties to death (Yuuji practically died and Shoko is a doctor).
I will cry myself to sleep now gn

ItaFushi makes me cry, not even as a romantic ship but them as a whole make me want to violently rip my heart out.
Jujutsu Kaisen spoilers
Remember when Megumi said "but what would you do if those people you saved kill other people in the future" to Yuuji? Both of them go against that saying.
Megumi saved Yuuji from being executed, but the backlash was more than severe. Had he not requested Satoru to have a talk with the higher-ups, the Shibuya Accident wouldn't have been so deathly as we know it. Sukuna wouldn't have been able to go on a rampage after being fed all those fingers. Not only that, but it would've been likely that Nobara wouldn't have to face off against Mahito alone. So many deaths and casualities would've been prevented if it wasn't for Megumi's request.
But what about Yuuji? Now with the chapter 212 leaks, the one person he was personally asked to save is gonna die, or atleast be beyond help. The one-in-a-million chance where someone who is possessed by Sukuna regains consciousness will not happen again. Yuuji was supposed to be the one to be executed in the end, but now it'll be Megumi. A rampage similar to Shibuya will most likely happen again, and there are almost no sorcerers to stop it or prevent it, especially now that Sukuna has access to the Ten Shadows technique.
They also heavily resemble Satoru and Suguru.
Unlike Satoru who shifted the balance from the moment he was born, Yuuji changed the fate of the Jujutsu World from the moment he swallowed Sukuna's finger. They both carry a great will to protect: Yuuji wants to protect the innocent, Satoru wants to protect the youth.
Suguru and Megumi both possess techniques where they control cursed beings. Suguru has cursed spirits he absorbs and Megumi has the shikigami. And it so happens to be that both of their bodies are possessed by great evil spirits (Sukuna and Kenjaku).
Yuuji and Megumi now carry on the best friend curse from Satoru and Suguru. An unstoppable meets a cursed fate. Ironically, that fits really well.
No one in the Jujutsu World has a happy ending, let alone a normal fate and destiny. No matter how much you try to escape it, it'll always come back and stalk you with death.
Look at Toji and Yuki for example. Toji was an outcast, and his hatred that birthed from being an outcast led him to his demise. Yuki was a free sorceress that didn't follow orders, but ended up dying (?) against Kenjaku without being able to protect Tengen, leading to a great catastrophe.
Just as Yuuji wasn't able to be a proper vessel for Sukuna, Megumi wasn't able to become a proper sorcerer that protects the world from cursed spirits; he wasn't able to save Tsumiki.
It's funny how both of them want to protect, yet never protected anyone. Once you enter the Jujutsu World, despair and death is inevitable.
Still though, just because they failed as sorcerers doesn't mean they failed as friends. If there's anyone worthy of being the best duo ever, it's Yuuji and Megumi.
They check up on each other even when nothing seems off, and would genuinely do anything to keep each other happy. They really are the sun and moon.
Yuuji shines over the day, striving to protect the innocent and keep up the name of justice.
Megumi carries on Yuuji's light at night and saves whoever he can save.
Their souls are intertwined, and they converge at dawn.
Thank you for listening to my ted talk, I will now return to twitter and like all the posts slandering Akutami Gege.
Also this post is not to slander ItaFushi and SatoSugu 😡 I love them more than anything and I'd sell my organs in exchange for money to make Akutami give them a happy ending
Being a hater is my delusional coping mechanism 💪
