THEY JUST *Throws crockery* do nothing for one hundred years. ONE HUNDRED YEARS.  They don’t improve their military *facepalms*. They don’t make substantial aid to rescuing the dragon eggs. IN A CITY THEY F***** BUILT. They just *recover*. THEY DON’T EVEN INCREASE THIER NUMBERS. (CAUSE WHY DO THAT WHEN YOU CAN SING ABOUT DRAGONS,) *bangs head against the wall.* It takes a thirty year old with authority problems for them to actually send an actual PeRSon to help. *pulls hair*

AND THEN THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO ACT LIKE THE EGG SHOULD BE THE “ELVES” RespONSIbility? 

THE QUEEN DOESN’T EVEN TALK TO THE DAMN AMBASSADOR! 

Does that mean the ambassador is better at helping ease the tensions between races?

We wish. 

The ambassador gets KIDNAPPED and suddenly there is an EMBARGO and A PRETEEN SHUNNING BY A WOMAN WHO WOULDN’T EVEN TALK TO THE AMBASSADOR. 

The logical thought would be that the elves would go get their ambassador. (You know the one taken by the Shade,  the being of extraordinary magical talent, BECAUSE AS WE KNOW THE ELVES ARE SUPER GIFTED WITH MAGIC AND STRENGTH AND THEY WERE CHOSEN BY THE DRAGONS.)

NOOOOOOOOO. 

The Ambassador is rescued by a  DRUGGED fifteen year old and a DEPRESSED nineteen year old with ZERO outside supervision. 

The next obvious question would be, are the elves grateful to the fifteen year old?

Sure. They show that by telling him he OWES the Elves and that he isn’t good enough because he is disabled (YOU KNOW DUE TO KILLING THAT SHADE THATS BEEN RUNNING AROUND KILLING YOUR PEOPLE AND CAPTURING AND TORTURING YOUR AMBASSADOR).

THEN (of course) at the end, when the (now) sixteen year old and twenty year old riders have killed the human the elves didn’t- do they respect them?

NOOOOOOOOO.

The elves just take the egg. So it will be “fair.”  They even do it while ERagon is gone. like really?

And instead of respecting the fact the riders have to keep themselves separate from individual governments, THEY MAKE THE RIDER THEIR QUEEN.  Its certainly not because she’s QUALIFIED. and they “doN’t InhERIte THE CrOwn.” 

Their excuse is that they are “diminished”  and they need the moral boost. And it is bad that any of the other races have a hold on the other rider, EVEN THOUGH ERAGON TRAINED UNDER THE ELVES, LOOKS LIKE AN ELF, AND FOLLOWS SEVERAL ELVEN PRINCIPLES. 

Its only fair that the leader of their race be also above everyone elses government. 

IT WAS ONLY THE HUMANS THAT HAD THE PROBLEMS WITH A RIDER BEING IN CHARGE OF EVERYONE.
