If I had a world of my own, Everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isnt. And, contrary wise, what is, it wouldnt be. And what it would be, it wouldnt be. You See?

A real world. How arrogant are you to think yours is the only one? There are infinite more. You have to open your mind. They touch one another, pressing up in a long line of lands, each just as real as the last. All have their own rules. Some have magic. Some don’t. And some need magic… Like this one.

“Listen Jefferson” she took a deep breath before continuing the sentence. “Why don’t you lower the gun, and we’ll talk calmly”. She took a slow step forward to him. “Just lower the gun and I’ll help you”.
“You still think I can make that hat? It didn’t work Jefferson, I tried and it didn’t work. No matter how many times I’ll try, it won’t work, because magic doesn’t work like that…it doesn’t exist”. She now had her hand on the gun. “I can get you help Jefferson”.
He narrowed his eyes at her. He didn't dare lower his gun. Even in madness, Jefferson was more clever than most. He wouldn't fall for her lies this time. "You can do it, it worked once, it'll work again. You have magic. What will it take for you to believe that?" he asked her.
He shook his head. Some savior she was. How could she save them all if she couldn't even believe in herself? "We all need help, don't we?" he said, the corner of his mouth lifting up in a sort of smile.

"The rabbit hole," he chuckled. "The rabbit hole." He shook his head at her, he was becoming angry. "I'm losing my patience here, sheriff. It's the damned hat," he snapped. "It's the hat! You made it work," he said in a hushed tone.
"You're very clever, Emma. That's what I admire about you. But you see, you're going to make it work again." His hand tightened on the gun. "You're going to get in that bug, and you're going to keep going until you reach my place. And then you're going to make it work. Understood?"

"Ah yes, that's right. Your friend," his eyes narrowed. "She's got strong legs, that one." He laughed dryly. "Disappear? No, no. I went straight down the rabbit hole. What's the matter? Don't you believe me?"
He pulled his hat on, not once moving the gun away from Emma. "Seems you do have a little magic in you. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough. And I'm afraid I just can't let you off the hook for that one."

He smiled, slightly amused. "How sweet. You remember me." He paced around her, saying nothing for a moment. "Now Sheriff, how exactly did you outsmart me the last time we met? Forgive me. My own memory is a bit on the foggy side," he chuckled lightly.

With one hand on his gun, Jefferson inched forward into the woods. He could sense she was close. And this time, he wouldn't let her slip through his fingers. Emma could be so predictable when it came to catching her. But keeping her was a different story.
Once she was close enough, Jefferson emerged from the brush he was hiding in. He loaded his gun and held it just inches before the back of her head. Jefferson smiled, knowing he had her right where he wanted her. "Did you miss me?" he asked in his soft voice.
Into the woods
Emma parked her car and stepped out of it, the place still felt so weird to be at, the car was still there. She had been there many times since Kathryn had disappeared, and today was another one of those “fun” times looking for evidence proving that one of her only friends she’d ever had was innocent. She needed to find something, she didn’t know what would happen if Mary Margret would get declared guilty.
She walked into the forest and looked around for just about anything. After a few minutes looking she thought she heard a noise further in, she walked as fast as she could over there. Who was in the forest at this time? Whoever it was, he was up to no good.
