I have put as many of the warnings in the tags please be careful and take into consideration that Sirius was raised in an abusive household. It is not mentioned too much but I don’t want anyone to be affected badly.

Sirius is one year old and he is introduced as the heir of Most Noble and Ancient House of Black to the rest of the world, his small hands reaching for his mother’s hair to play with. After a few minutes into the ball thrown for him, he is handed to the house elves.

Sirius is two years old, now he can walk around at the ball that’s thrown in his name as the rightful heir of the house of Black but he is ushered away by the house elves before Walburga sees, she won’t have a small child wreaking havoc in her precious ball.

Sirius is three years old, now he has a small brother he adores and he can talk, all the more reason for him to kept shut in a room after being shown to the room of people he doesn’t know. He throws a small tantrum which ends in Walburga herself shutting him up in a room with Regulus and a house elf on his birthday. Sirius refuses to talk to Walburga for three days despite her constant yelling about answers.

Sirius is four years old, he plans to stay at the party thrown for his birthday. He is all grown up after all but he doesn’t, he is shut away with Regulus whose birthdays are even worse than his.

Sirius is five years old and he just doesn’t care anymore. Imagine a five year old not caring about his birthday but it’s not like his birthday at all, it’s just a regular day. Walburga forces him to smile as she shows him around as a new vase she bought from Borgin and Burkes.

Sirius is six years old and he has hope maybe this year will be different because his mother buys him new dress robes. It’s not, he keeps himself busy with Regulus because he knows his little brother deserves best, next time it’s Regulus’ birthday Sirius celebrates it secretly in his room.
