i love it when a piece of media is like: is there anything more painful than knowing your sibling? is there anything more tragic than knowing they are the only person who will ever share the same experience as you? they were the only constant in your life. they were there since birth and now, no matter how they betray you, you will still love them. you will always feel the need to protect them even if you can no longer bring yourself to talk to them. will anyone else be able to understand? will anybody be able to love you and hate you and fear you the same way a sibling loves you and hates you and fears you? no, probably not

First of all, I just want to say I love your meta, and I’m excited for Infrans to come out next year-I’m sure Flames will be my favorite. Anyway, I noticed there’s a Goofreads page with the title Alvoskia: Call of the Infrans, and I just wanted to check to see if that was you. I hope you have a good day or night!

First off thank you for your kind words, they mean a lot!! I love Flames so much as a character and she means a lot to me.

This led me to check out Good Reads and is indeed my book title (although my author name will probs end up being my initials). I didn't put it up there (I think? I do have a goodreads account but it's barely used / not that one) but it is possible my publisher might've.

The fact it already has a 5 star rating is good news, though, I think! Here's hoping it stays high <3

believe it or not some female characters don’t have to be mothers. some female characters shouldn’t be mothers. some female characters have a history of expressed disinterest in being mothers. some female characters would have to do a complete 180 in characterization in order to be mothers.

i love to read a character's stoicism as awkwardness. yeah your posture is great and you're mysteriously surveying the scene but it's because you're stiff af and don't know how to approach anyone, right?
