The Bridal Gown

Just like what I have said on “The wedding process...” I trusted my supplier and accepted the fact that there are things you can’t never get ahold of.

As you can see on our prenup photos (scroll down for pictures) there are unexpected outfit I got there and those were from my mom’s good friend. Also unexpectedly fits me well so I decided to get my bridal gown done by him again and be complacent. Just like that, I never even asked about the progress they’ve made.

Eventually 2 weeks before my wedding day the gown arrived, and I CRIED! YES! (like a baby) not because I’m happy but because I AM SO DISAPPOINTED! I called my husband to-be that time and he just cooing on the other side of the cellphone screen to stop my crying face. He even tell me that ‘It’s okay, I’ll buy you another one’ but It didn’t stop me hurting and I kept thinking that it’s too late to find another one blah blah blah. I talked to my Mom and said that I will never wear that, not even close to my design.

The following day my mom told me that she managed to asked them to create another one in 3 days and it arrived then after 3 days. I never looked at it because I said to myself that no matter what it looks like, I will wear it because I have no choice and just wear the confidence to carry it.

Two days before the big day, I can’t help myself but to take a peek to my gown and I still I can never hid my disappointment and sadness  but still I keep on crazily calming my self that ‘it’s okay, it was just a gown, whatever you wear it will look good on you’. I believe in the traditional saying and didn’t fit the gown.

A day before the wedding I checked in at the hotel with my childhood bestie. As I was hanging the gown, she saw it and keep on cursing me. She dragged me to the mall and find an alter shop and successfully made a little difference.

On the wedding day…

 I’m still hoping to look good on it. Noticed a bit torn on the left arm

And…

made the most out of it.
