dream was publicly executed, hence the reason that everyone is so certain he's actually dead

the server is currently in a state of limbo, with only callahan doing maintenance, helped by dreamxd

las nevadas is the major power, backed up by, uh, unethical cloning

with the server in the state it is, new members and 'guests' being whitelisted hasn't been an uncommon occurrence which is why the new syndicate member doesn't raise any suspicion

the syndicate is the only opposing force to las nevadas, the members desperately trying to keep things from escalating

dream's member name is 'laelaps'

he's not the only new member, there's another, one of the 'guests' that comes by occasionally to help
