First, in what is sure to be an extensive series of character redesigns for Blackarachnia.

• Gasteracantha aka spiny orb weaver (more specifically the demon horned orb weaver)

I cannot stress how much I LUV spiders, so if anyone enjoys them as much as I - or even if you just like the concept art - feel free to leave me suggestions of other spider species in the comments. I have a few in mind but would love to hear other thoughts.

VERSES

{LATRODECTUS} Blackarachnia (Beast Wars) - A Maximal protoform with Predacon programming, she is perpetually at war with herself. She seeks her independence above all things.

{PHOLCIDAE} Blackarachnia (Beast Machines) - Willful and at times still rebellious, this version of the femme fatale seeks peace, and a resolution to the conflict that has plagued their kind for far too long.

{ARANEIDAE} Blackarachnia (TF Animated) - Tormented by betrayal, she seeks vengeance against those who abandoned her while chasing the cure to her organic affliction.

{CTENIZIDAE} Airachnid (TF Aligned) - Perhaps the most sadistic of all her iterations, she delights in inflicting suffering. This spider serves herself first and foremost, though she knows when to play the part of 'loyal' follower.

{LYCOSIDAE} Airachnid (TF One) - Enforcer and surveillance specialist, she is ruthlessly proficient and loyal to a fault to those she deems worthy.

I prefer paragraph styled roleplay, and can get descriptive. While I don't expect people to match me, I do appreciate the same level of effort put into responses.

I usually use smaller formatting for font. However, I am happy to adjust in the event that standard is the preference/needed for you.

Do not self insert or thread hop. All rp interactions must be discussed and approved of by all parties involved.

No godmodding. My DMs are are open for discussion regarding the direction an interaction might go, so please use the correct avenues to plan out scenarios.

The muses are Decepticons (for the most part), so any interactions that you would like to occur onboard their ship or in their base must be discussed beforehand.

No drama, please. I come here to have fun. Additionally, I am not a licensed therapist. We all have our own stuff going on, and while I am deeply empathetic, I can't solve anyone's problems for them (especially when it's someone I've met online).

I know Beast Machines was a bit of a flop for the Transformers franchise, but I really appreciated some of the risks they took with character designs, excluding maybe a couple of them we're not going to talk about how dirty they did Rattrap.

I love the idea of blending organic features into non organic beings. I think it creates an opportunity for so many unique traits outside of the usual amalgam of geometric shapes stacked together.

Blackarachnia specifically could be so interesting... had they not limited options based on her name, there are so many species of spider, and a ton of them are absolutely WILD looking. Black widows - while still lovely - are very basic (standard spider shape). I think I want to draw some alternate character designs for her, starting in the Araneidae family (orb weavers specifically).
