Christopher being in danger and buck getting so worried he growls "get your hands off MY kid" without thinking about it. that or the 118 answering to a fire at chris's school and when buck finds Christopher he yells "dad!" instead of buck. ANYTHING to get these people to finally acknowledge each other as father and son.

edit: of course we can't forget, as Christopher screams "dad!" and reaches out for Buck, he answers with his own desperate and scared "i got you! i got you!"

I like the idea of Buddie being soulmates. And if the show really decides not to get them together, I will treat it as "Soulmates exist. Sometimes they find each other and realize they belong together to live happily ever after. Other times they find each other but outside forces make it so they never take the last step to solidifying their bond, leaving them forever wondering what they are missing in their life." Sad, but a perfect explanation for Buddie for me.

Can I please ask why you wanted to make me weep this Wednesday afternoon??!? That is actually such a beautiful and perfect way to explain those two idiots (IF the show doesn’t do right by them and us all). Gosh I’m so emotional bc no one and no thing can ever convince me they’re not each others person. There’s too many reasons behind why they are in fact made for the other. Something the show, its writers or any show runner can never convince me is how much Eddie loves Buck. It’s all in his goddamn eyes. The pure softness and how he really looks at Buck like he put the goddamn stars in the sky. His gaze softens immediately when he sees that big ball of sunshine. And no one, in my honest opinion, will ever be as meaningful to Eddie as Buck is. It’s simple as that really. Buck is Eddie’s person and Eddie is Buck’s. And no one can convince me otherwise.

I think the photos could be a good sign when combined with everything else. New network. Picked up after being canceled, so a reason to go all out. LIs hitting the road?

But, they are best friends, so photos of them together don't necessarily mean Buddie automatically. Hell, it could be a moment in between takes and that's Ryan looking at Oliver versus Eddie and Buck. Not saying ship them, just saying it might not be an in character moment.

I'm probably 70/30 on if it will happen. I don't have the faith some do in ABC. I mean, it's still Disney at the end of the day.

But I look forward to more photos like those, just for the fics they will inspire until the show airs.
