[A smile lights his face as he hears her pick up, and he moves so his laptop is on his lap and his phone is actually in his hand instead of just propped on his shoulder]

Hola! You told me to call when I had the ticket and was ready for bed. Why do you sound out of breath? You should be almost asleep by now as well!

[She’s been cleaning since she was able to email him the tickets and information, but had her phone close by in case he called while she did something loud like vacuuming. Of course, he did. She answers the phone slightly out of breath]

[Sure enough he packs, showers, brushes his teeth, and crawls into bed with his laptop an hour or so later. Once he’s got the tickets, he hits her number on speed dial and holds the phone between his ear and shoulder, looking into the flight she’s booked him]
