The subject EMPOWERMENT TECHNOLOGY provide us knowledge and skills needed in using Internet.

Within the two months of studying this subject, I have learned many things. From practicing online safety, utilizing different computer softwares such as microsoft word, microsoft excel, and microsoft powerpoint, creating google forms, and how to properly utilize online websites such as Tumblr.

From my experiences, I can say that it is not easy. There are times that we are getting so many activities and I became so stressed in managing my time. I also have a hard time understanding some topics that needed to be applied, such as creating graphs on microsoft word, because I don't have enough gadgets for it. But thankfully, with the consideration of our teacher and working hard on finding solutions, I was able to complete all of my activities and pass it on time. It was a relief whenever I did it because even though it was hard, I know that all of my efforts will be paid off.

I am really happy that I have given a chance to take this subject because I know that I would be able to apply all of my learnings, and it will be a big help for me in the future.

Lastly, I would like to thank my teacher Mrs. Lacbay, for giving her best in providing us all the knowledge that we needed in this new normal learning. Also, my friends for being by my side and helped me in studying. And to God, for giving me and my loved ones safety amidst this pandemic that we are all experiencing.

Why did I chose tumblr as my homepage?

I have chosen tumblr as my homepage because I think that this app is really easy to operate. I can choose the only contents that I want to see. I really enjoyed creating a post because of the things that I can add to it such as photos, videos, links, gif's, colored texts, different font styles and sizes, etc. This app also gives me an aesthetic vibe, which I really love. And not only that, I feel very comfortable in using this app, I feel like I can the share here the things that I like, without any risks.

Environmental Issues in the Philippines

This video tackles the different environmental issues that the Philippines are currently facing. It gives the viewers an awareness about what is happening to the country, and to create a concern about the future.

The environmental issues that had been stated are Deforestation, Water Pollution, Air Pollution, Acid Precipitation, Destruction of Coral Resources, and Wildlife Depletion.

In addition, the video encourages us to save our earth, that there is still a chance that we can stop these issues if we act properly and we should be wary when using the natural resources provided by our planet. It stated that we should be part of the SOLUTION and not the POLLUTION. We should care our planet because we only have one.

I have chosen this video to be uploaded into this blog because this made me realized how much damage we, people are doing to our only planet because of our carelessness. That we should care about our environment because when all of these has been totally damaged and disappeared, we will all be gone.

I also want to share this video to help other people be open-minded about what we are currently facing. By this, we can help each other protect the planet so that all of us today and the future generations can enjoy it's beauty and richness.
