Sorry for the inactivity! I was a bit busy on a work trip, and then the triplets had their birthday recently, so of course I had to drop everything for them !!

..I did come back to a duskull (not those ghost types, we have different duskulls here!) in my laboratory. So, I had to fix my floor from that little ground type, haha.

Random pokemon facts!

Flamboil, the so-proclaimed “objectmon” is, in fact, a predator! Flamboil are friendly towards humans in entirety, but when confronted with a Smoliv or Dolliv, the flamboil will attack and take their oil! Oil is a huge part of their diet. Usually, some altosians leave out cooking oil for any flamboils, but before human processing making food oils, there were little flamboil due to little smoliv. Eventually, the population grew, and upon humans beginning to use cooking oil, the flamboil’s population grew as well!

..Just please, do NOT give your flamboil water. It won’t hurt it, no, but it may hurt you on accident. If their flame gets too out of control, use a ground type or if you don’t have that, a towel/blanket. Flamboils, false to myth, aren’t harmed if their flames go out. They may put it out themselves, to show they don’t intend to harm any new trainers they meet.

I myself do not have a flamboil in my care, but many do! They are native to altosi, and are very easily domesticated.

MOE TRIO

did you pick your starters, and if so what did you name them? How are they like personality wise?

MOE trio..? Oh! Oh, Mila, Oliver and Ellis! Very clever, anon!

hm? our starters? yeah, we got ‘em from maple recently. none of us named them. maybe we will later?

i went for the water type, joltly. he’s jus’ a lil’ fella.. he was quite friendly upon first meeting, and i haven’t even been stung yet!!

ooh! OOH!!! I chose the fire type, puffy! She’s got good heart, and practically ran to my arms! ..you get used to the smoke eventually. It’s less harmful than normal smoke, so that’s a plus(?)

i chose the grass type, twail. she likes sitting near ponds and playing in mud. I never cared for getting dirty, but i’m starting to mind less. perhaps it’s because i have twail with me?

Ah, the documented images of our very own legends! Very few have had the luck to see either of these two in person. I myself have seen Jalagmite. My greatest fortune, which inspired me to become a professor!

I hope one day to meet them again.

How is altosi like? People, culture, foods, maybe regional pokemon? Is there anything you'd say they're known for?

Oho! Good question! Here in altosi, we welcome all tourists and visitors of the like. I hope we uphold the fun little joke that all altosians are nice, haha.

Our most popular dishes are that of breads and spreads! It’s very popular for children to pick up berries and mash them into a jam, or to get butter and cook something more complicated up. You can share, or just make some for yourself!

Regional pokemon… Hm, well there aren’t any Wisbugs, Gossamip, and Antella anywhere else at the moment. Those tiny fellas are quite common here! That and of course, altosian Klefki. Flamboil are somewhat rare but are near never seen anywhere else. And the pokemon we use for starters, such as Puffy aren’t seen anywhere else either.

I’d say we’re known for our regional power-up caused by the Strange Keys- similar to Kalos and their mega evolution- (Did you know Altosi has roots from Kalosian settlers?) and Galar with their Gigantamax, et cetera. Perhaps I will talk about the usage of Unlock and Lock later.

…we are also known for the jams. The sweet spreads here are like no other. I’d recommend trying to order some organic ones online. The pecha berry jams are my favorite..

Me? Oh my! I hadn’t expected to get so many asks about myself! Well, I have a lockankii, the evolution of our very own altosian klefki!! That, and a young gossamip that took a liking to me, and a ninetales I’ve been partners with since I was young.

Sweethearts, all of them. I love them dearly!
