Why do I like video games?

I could give a cheesy answer, they are fun, they entertain, they look nice. However I'd be lying if I said that was the real reason. You see, I am a loser, there is a checklist that goes along with that but whatever. Being a loser, I play video games, a lot. More than I care to admit. I shut out important people in my life and have overall lost control of it. I play video games to escape from that. Instead of facing my problems head on, I run away. Instead of being a loser that I am, in a video game, I am a hero. I play video games because although I lead a shitty life, I can live another one, and I can do whatever the fuck I want to. I play to win because I'm so tired of loosing in the real world. I play video games because although I am but a small insignificant spec of dust that no one would have a problem wiping away, I get to feel like someone. Honestly I feel so fucked in the current state of my life, I would give anything just to feel happy with it again, but the only way that'll happen is in a game, where I can click continue even when I've failed.

There is no wage gap

Did you know that the “Equal Pay Act of 1963” made it illegal for people to be paid less than others because of their gender? So that means if women want to be paid the same as men, do as good of a job. A lot of feminists don’t understand that they are already equal. Feminism is not needed in a first world country like the US, They do in the middle east. So stop crying to the patriarchy when you don’t get your way. That is all. Oh… And rape culture doesn’t exist.
