This round little fellow is a juvenile European common toad [Bufo bufo], a species with a wide range from Europe to the western part of North Asia, as well as a small section of Northwest Africa. These common toads reach maturity after about three to seven years, but development time varies greatly due to factors such as climate, availability of prey, and the presence of parasites and predators. This specimen was found in Poland by iNaturalist user infopres18.
