ATEEZ Members as Carebears

Hongjoong as Cheer Bear

Cheer Bear is an extremely happy care bear who wants to see others making the most of their lives. Cheer Bear is always around to make sure her friends are in a cheerful mood and she will let anyone feel left out or down on their luck. She carries around the hope for a better world and wants the bears around her to see the brighter side of life.

Hongjoong became an idol because he wants to influence others and express energy that other people can pick up on and take with them. Although he may be considered strict, Hongjoong has a large heart and always makes sure his members are being cared for appropriately. He wants to be sure everyone is happy and in good spirits to ensure they are staying true to themselves and putting their best foot forward. One thing we know about Hongjoong is that he will always fight for people who need it most: Hongjoong actively supports campaigns such as Happy Hippie Foundation that helps young people fight against injustice, Dearheart campaign that sends funding to help treat and fight diseases like cancer, and the Polished Man campaign that works to bring an end to domestic violence against children and women.

Hongjoong is setting a good example for the people who follow him and he is working to create a positive, inclusive, and comfortable environment for those around him. Just like Cheer Bear, Hongjoong just wants everyone to be happy, feeling accepted, and looking forward to the life that lies ahead. He wants to contribute to bettering the world and he does so by setting an example for his fans. He is a strong leader who fosters a safe and happy environment that doesn't allow for anyone to be left behind.

Seonghwa as Tender Heart Bear

Tender Heart Bear's main responsibility is to help other bears share their feelings openly and provide affection when it is needed. By helping his fellow bears foster a loving environment and by sharing his own love for the other bears, he helps the feeling of love and support grow and spread.

Seonghwa is a caring, loyal and compassionate person. He is known as the "mom" of Ateez because of his caring nature: He helps the members clean up after themselves, he cooks frequently and he is always there to give an ear to the members when they need it. Seonghwa is another one of the comforting members in Ateez: If one of the members needs advice or needs to hear comforting words, they can always count on Seonghwa to be there for them without thinking about it twice.

Seonghwa helps create a clean, open and comforting environment to foster the feeling of brotherhood or love between himself and the other members. Much like Tender Heart Bear, Seonghwa is always around to give the affection his members need the most, and he feels happiest when the members are getting along well and sharing love or affection to one another on their own terms.

Yunho as Harmony Bear

Harmony Bear is a mood setter of sorts. She loves music and she loves to promote unity and togetherness within her circle of Bear friends. She wants everyone to feel included and she does her best to make sure everyone is being friendly and works together to overcome issues that may strain a friendship.

Yunho is the energy setter of Ateez. He is always the first one to make a joke in an attempt to brighten a dim atmosphere and according the members, Yunho looks out for the members and makes sure everyone is on the same page and feels included. In order for the group to work as a team, they must be able to get along and follow along with each other to make sure nobody is confused or falls behind. Yunho is always trying to make light of the situation and he is always going to be the most energized in the room to keep the others feeling motivated to stay on his level of excitement.

Yunho works hard to create a fun and energetic atmosphere that keeps the members in happy and motivated moods. While Harmony Bear sings to help bridge gaps between her friends, Yunho takes initiative by cracking jokes and encouraging others to laugh with each other or at their own mistakes. He is a peacemaker and an energy setter for his group. He feels it is his responsibility to keep people motivated, energized, and ready for whatever obstacle may be thrown at them next.

Yeosang as Friend Bear

Friend Bear is always around when you need them to be! Friend Bear believes there's nothing better than having a pal by your side and they always know how to act no matter the situation or conflict at hand! If you want to have fun, they'll be there. If you just need a friend to vent to after a long day, Friend Bear has no fear! They will be there to support you through whatever is going on.

Yeosang is a very smart and inquisitive person. He enjoys being alone on occasion so he can study, skateboard, play video games, or simply play with his drones, but he's also always around when he's needed. Though he cherishes spending time with himself, Yeosang finds comfort in providing friendship to his members. He thinks deeply about his friends and using his inquisitive personality trait as a way to create and foster safe and comfortable friendships with people. Yeosang is a very caring person and he will always put other people's needs in front of his own.

Much like Friend Bear, Yeosang is a reliable and caring friend who is down to hang out with the Ateez members no matter what the circumstances may be. If Yunho wants to play a video game, he'll be there in a heartbeat with a controller in hand. If Mingi just needs a friend to vent to about the frustrations he felt while learning a new dance, Yeosang will be there with advice and motivation to keep Mingi fighting. All in all, Yeosang is a well-rounded person who knows how to be a good friend. He is able to shift his approach when times get tough and he knows how to show the members a good time to keep their bond strong and healthy.

San as Champ Bear

Champ Bear is a very confident bear who is good at everything he does! From playing sports to encouraging others to reach their full potential, Champ Bear is a confident and motivational Bear who wants everyone to reach their goals.

San is a confident and driven man who puts his best foot forward in all that he does. He works hard in all of his fields to become the best that he can: The members have all said that San is skilled in many different practices. From what we have learned about San, he was a great volleyball player in high school, he dawns a third dan black belt in Taekwondo, and he is now the mood-maker of Ateez. Whatever hobbies San decides to involve himself in, we can count on him to make the most of it and become a master soon after.

Being the mood maker for Ateez means he is always confident and in a happy mood in an attempt to push the members closer to reaching their goals. San is a trendsetter and role model for his members: Seeing him succeed and work on strengthening skills he may have been weak in encourages the members to do the same. He leads the members in a positive direction and hopes his confident energy will rub off on them. He wants to see his brothers succeed and he will continue to be his best self in front of them to encourage the others to become their best selves, as well.

Mingi as Daydream Bear

Daydream Bear is a very creative bear who spends most of her time lost in a world of her own. Her very creative and innovative mind can cause her to be a bit clumsy from time to time, but it mostly comes in handy when a new solution to a big problem needs to be found.

Mingi has a very creative and slightly childish mindset! According to the other members, Mingi is the easiest to spook in Ateez and he tends to act like the youngest member (a baby) when they are alone at home. Beyond being a little bit childish at the dorms, Mingi is a noisy and loud guy who just likes to have fun or receive attention from his brothers. He has a very silly personality and he is prone to daydreaming a lot, just like Daydream Bear. He finds himself drifting off into his own world frequently and can sometimes use his imagination to bring color, life, and fun into the studio, dorm, or dance practice room.

Mingi and Daydream Bear are not shy when it comes to having fun with their friends. Though they need to be careful to avoid making mistakes, they are always in the mood to play with their friends and talk about their new and creative ideas. Mingi's creativity is shown through his performances. You can count on Mingi to use his silly and slightly childish mindset to make the others laugh, but you can also always count on him to let his imaginative mind break free when he hits the stage or sits down to write a new song with Hongjoong.

Wooyoung as Play-a-lot Bear

Play-a-lot Bear is a relaxed and fun-loving bear who would never pass up the opportunity to have fun! They love to be in the presence of their pals and spreading joy and love with each one of them.

Wooyoung has a playful spirit! Although he seems stoic or tough on stage, the other members have reported that Wooyoung is a playful, cool, and relaxed person when they're at home. Much like his older member Mingi, Wooyoung is a very noisy member who isn't afraid to get on the nerves of his brothers. All Wooyoung wants to do is have a good and fun time with the people closest to him. His hobbies are a perfect reflection of his personality: He enjoys playing video games such as League of Legends and FIFA, he loves to collect clothes, and his favorite pass time is bullying Seonghwa.

Wooyoung absolutely is not the type of person to pass up the opportunity to have fun or annoy his brothers. He is always down to try new things and you can count on him to be the first one in the car when another member suggests they go on an adventure. Wooyoung is a carefree and playful spirit who just enjoys being alive in the present time.

Jongho as Do-Your-Best Bear

Do-Your-Best Bear is a great motivator! He finds joy in encouraging his friends to work towards achieving goals they never thought would be possible. He is a very reliable and joyful bear!

Jongho may be the youngest member in Ateez but he sure is one of the smartest and most caring members. Jongho is a well-rounded individual who has a lot of skills in different trades. Sports was once a passion of his but he decided to follow the path of becoming a singer and has a newfound love for what he does. He is a confident member who does not allow fear to hold him back from trying new or potentially risky things. According to other Ateez members, Jongho is a member they all know they can rely on. No matter the occasion, they can count on Jongho to be present and ready for whatever obstacle may be thrown at him.

Using his fearless and confident attitude, Jongho provides a sense of encouragement to his older brothers. He's a loyal, hardworking individual who loves to support and cheer on his members when it's necessary. He loves to show off his talents and he finds joy in motivating his members to try new things or push themselves harder to reach goals they may feel they can never achieve.
