I am interested in Harajuku fashion as I enjoy the use of excess accessories and bright colours. It seems that there are no boundaries for this fashion style and it can be taken in so many different directions ​

I am inspired by this style in my own outfits and in my artwork as I enjoy using bright colours and layering clothing and accessories.​

One of my main inspirations for fashion is a book named 'Fairie-ality' the fashion collection by the house of Elwand which is a book of different outfits designed for fairies.​

​From a young age as I was captivated by the unusual and delicate looking dresses. I feel that it is one source of inspiration for my own outfits.​

Gothic fashion:  This is also a style that interests me as it holds no boundaries and allows the wearer to express themselves completely. Goth is a subculture that began in the United Kingdom during the early 1980s. I am most influenced by a Goth known as Siouxsie Seoux as I enjoy her uniqueness and am influenced by her in my own outfits.​

I create edits for my Instagram account using the app Picsart.   Through creating eye catching edits,  I have managed to get 14.5 thousand followers. I use this platform to display my outfits and different photo edits.​

Instagram is a place to express myself.  I enjoy exploring the features of the app and the unlimited ways of editing photographs. ​

In graphic design I was tasked to create a double paged spread to promote a made-up brand of clothing called ‘Dark Urban’.  My work had to reflect the brand and I have done this by capturing images of young people in deprived areas within our town centre.  

These photos are ‘teaser’ adverts that I created to promote the Dark Urban brand.

Here you can see photographs of the ‘Dark Urban’ product (the white t-shirt) and my final advertisements.  I have contrasted the white top with the darkness around it.  Light and dark against the themes of good and evil.

My Art....

I designed posters for the film 'Ponyo'.  

These posters accurately display my use of bright, bold colours. They also show my skills in the use of  oil pastels which is the medium I enjoy the most.​

I created portraits of people experiencing different emotions such as sadness, anger, jealousy and guilt.​

These portraits allowed me to explore different mediums.​

I was able to express my talents in pencil tone during this topic.​

I created a brochure for a trip to the planet Trappist.  This allowed me to gain expertise in the use of the editing apps: Photoshop and Indesign
