wtaf is "heterosexual jakeyism" though
Sorry for taking so long to answer! It's kind of a memetic shorthand to describe the way certain women behave about men and relationships. The origin of "jakey" is this post:

OP was complaining about kind of a precursor to the "I'm just a girl" stuff that's popular now, perpetuating stereotypes of being dependent on their male partners. She got frustrated because women were reblogging it with tags saying it depicted them and their boyfriends, as if it were cute and aspirational, and completely missing OP's point. Jakey became the catch-all term for a particular type of man who does not deserve the defense and adulation his wife/girlfriend gives him.
It's basically an aggressive, often performative reveling in traditional gender roles and stereotypes in relationships. It often comes from women who are willfully blind to their boyfriend or husband's serious flaws (and the general place of women in society) and are overcompensating to avoid confronting the truth.
The post you're asking about was about something that happened over the last few days on twitter, where several women were saying it's cute when they date men they have to teach basic skills and concepts to, and giving truly insane examples. It was perpetuating the idea that men need their girlfriends to be their mommies, basically, so the use of "heterosexual jakeyism" was to indicate that it was about heterosexual relationship dynamics.
And just to pre-empt any bad faith readings on the piss on the poor website, jakeyism isn't a derogatory term for women being in happy relationships with men. Women will insist they're happy with Jakey but their behavior says otherwise. Women who are in happy heterosexual relationships with decent men are just normal about it.

welp! I can’t believe it happened, but apparently, ao3 did a mass deletion of a ship tag. Idk if it’s the supposed 1 person, but seeing how the community is reacting, it’s looking like more than 1 author got their fics deleted with no warning. I’m so disappointed it happened in ao3 and I’m just waiting for response about it because the jump of fic numbers was too extreme to not be noticed. 8k to 5k man. Ship war might be a reason for it, but again, I’m just waiting to see if my support ticket gets response. Also has this happened before? Like on ao3 in particular?
--
What ship tag?
AO3 periodically puts its foot down with serial offenders who refuse to stop using AO3 to funnel people to their kofis, and non-fanwork spam gets deleted. It's unlikely that they just deleted a bunch of fanworks for no reason though.
ETA: Oh for fuck sake. Is this fucking Genshin wank?
Stop spamming the archive just so your shitty ship can "win" some war.
And/or stop believing the people who cry that PAC came after them ~out of nowhere~ when they know perfectly well what they did.
Because people still think that worthless methodology on the Top 100 Ships means something, some fuckface posted three thousand spam works just to force their ship on there. No, not the AI fics of the show for toddlers. Machine translated repeat upload drabbles for one of the ten kajillion Genshin ships. Then they orphaned half of them or made them anon or something to try to pretend that the lurkers support them in e-mail other authors posted this flood too.
Now that AO3 has gotten around to deleting their spam, they're apparently wailing about it somewhere on social media and trying to paint AO3 as censors. This is resulting in a flood of lackeys whining to AO3 about how Concerned™ they are.
You're a sucker, anon.
Either that, or you're trying to use my tumblr to spread panic.
You can tell AO3 doesn't actually believe in deletions because Genshin Impact fandom hasn't been booted off the archive for being fucking annoying.

Crazy how for so long everyone has been like "oh you're going to China? They censor everything though. You can't even just Google. They take all your data and your fingerprints and everything. You can't even search up tianmen square. They control the media there. You have to use special messaging apps because WhatsApp is blocked. Did you know minors can only play one hour of multiplayer games a day? Because the CCP controls everything."
And now we can't even go on twitter, discord, possibly even Wikipedia. Not only are we limited on how long we play, we can't even buy many anymore. Not even if you prove you're an adult. They've all been taken down. WhatsApp is threatening to remove services instead of remove it's encryption. One of the topics considered worthy of censorship was depiction of menstruation. You know, that thing that half of everyone goes through from an age much younger than 18.
And there are people defending this. The same people who hate on China. For its censorship. They are defending this.

LLMs are like slot machines, in that an incorrect answer (the slot machine eating your dollar) is unremarkable, while the LLM solving a problem (a jackpot) is amazing, and the latter stands out in your memory, causing you to overestimate the reliability of LLMs.
If you put ten minutes into writing a prompt, and Mallory gives a completely off-the-rails, useless answer, and you lose ten minutes, well, that’s just what using a computer is like sometimes. Mallory malfunctioned, or hallucinated, but it does that sometimes, everybody knows that. You only wasted ten minutes. It’s fine. Not a big deal. Let’s try it a few more times. Just ten more minutes. It’ll probably work this time.
If you put ten minutes into writing a prompt, and it completes a task that would have otherwise taken you 4 hours, that feels amazing. Like the computer is magic! An absolute endorphin rush.
Very memorable. When it happens, it feels like P=1.

The inconvenient thing about life is that half of it is all about listening to your body and letting yourself rest, and the other half is accepting that life will be uncomfortable and inconvenient sometimes and you've just go to make yourself push through your brain going Do Not Want and get the discomfort out of the way, and you never know which one it is.

hello tumblr user. in front of you stands a confident and outspoken character. your challenge today & forever is to consider the possibility they may simply have self-confidence and are not just faking to secretly cover up massive insecurities. good luck

yes, their close platonic relationship in canon is important to me specifically because it's both close and platonic
yes, I also ship them romantically, or as part of a romantic poly ship
I refuse to lock myself into a single interpretation of a fictional relationship when there's multiple interesting ways to view it. I can do both

Call me whatever names you wish, but I think this is a much better (and healthier) attitude than “anyone under 18 should never be allowed to see any sexual imagery ever”
(For reference: this was at the Tom of Finland exhibition, containing actual, queer, kinky af pornography. There were definitely some young people there, perhaps in their late teens. There was even a parent with their baby who was probably too young to understand anything at all. And guess what, all those people are probably going to be fine.)
[ID: a sign saying “Please note: there is no age limit, but the exhibition is not recommended for children due to the explicit sexual imagery it contains. Parental or guardian discretion is advised.”]
