Bratty P (x Reader?) Headcanons 🤩

This one got real "x reader" real fast. So I'll just label it as that. No regrets. It's also him just being selfish in general lol

• Pino eventually realizes he needs to wash his hair, due to being covered in oil and grime and blood all the time. You end up helping him at first, showing him how to do it and explaining why he would need to keep his hair clean. As he gains humanity, he definitely "gets" it, and certainly could do it himself now.

• Thing is, he still wants you to wash his hair. He doesn't want to do it himself when he could get his favorite person in the world to do it for him. That needy puppet might even lie a little to get you feeling bad for him. You'll do this for him, right? He just isn't sure if he can do it properly after all. He won't stop asking until you give in.

• A high-humanity Pino will eventually realize that he should get a day off like everybody else. He's gonna be super entitled about it, and he honestly kinda deserves it- he's done nothing but work his ass off literally since he was born.

• P is a kind boy. He'll help people out. But NOT on his day off, so don't ask. He will go get whatever item for you, yes. He'll go run whatever errand. But he will not be getting off his ass for that right now. He is incredibly selfish about his time off. If he's a human now, that means he gets a break, dammit.

• Honesty he starts getting pretty defiant about things he does not want to do in general. I'm talking like standing there, indignant stare, crossing his arms, and just Not Doing It. He's human now, so he gets to choose.

• Also, P is used to people complimenting his looks. Like, all the time. Being called handsome, precious, beautiful, a "looker", he's been told all of it by everyone.

• So... If he gets a new fit from somewhere, and wants to show it off, you'll want to tell him how good he looks. If you don't he'll feel pretty irked about it and he will let you know. Big dramatic sighs. Dragging his feet a bit. It's almost as if you haven't noticed him at all!! Unforgivable.

• Also if you're romantically involved with him to any degree it's practically a requirement to tell him he's beautiful all the time. Of course it's true, but he 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘴 it now after being told how pretty he is basically since he was awakened.

• Just spoil him. He deserves it.

I really love that his first instinct upon the cat letting him pet her is to immediately pick her up and test her physics.

P has discovered that he is about one stack of books tall.

Imagine cuddling with P being uncomfortable to adapt to, so in order to be able to do it for long periods of time you have to stuff a bunch of blankets or a pillow against his chest.

That way you can lay your head down next to his chest without bonking your skull on his robust metal torso every time you shift slightly.

And P doesn't really mind much of course. He does like blankets, and he wants you to be as comfortable as possible (so that he can snuggle with you for longer...)

Though I bet P wishes he had a human body so that he could be as close to you as an ordinary person could be. He sometimes wishes he was soft and warm, like you, but it's hard to dwell on thoughts like that when you're there hugging the shit out of him.

this game this game this game. I have been thinking about this.

The endings have such an ironic human expression attached to them.

The middle, neutral ending is just that, a hollow and neutral victory. There is no expression tied to it.

In the worst ending, where we remain as a puppet - albeit one of flesh and blood - He smiles at the end, an expression of joy. But in the "good" ending, in the most interpretably "good" ending you can possibly get in the game, that expression is a tear. An expression of sorrow.

Maybe this is drawing from Collodi-esque ideas. As though telling us that it isn't the ability to experience happiness that makes us human; It is the ability to experience pain. 

[And both of their skin is speckled and "flawed" in either ending. But in the good ending, his skin is "flawed" in the FAR more human way]

I don't have any smashing conclusions right now, I just thought they were juxtapositions in the story that were super interesting. And so beautiful.

There aren't really any "happy" endings in the game (in true k-media fashion). All of them are sort of melancholic, in my point of view. Krat is still totally destroyed, and either our father dies or the entire hotel, no matter what we do.

It's also reminding me of this verse:
