Note
I don't want to derail your blog's wonderful content, but people insisting Algerians are PoC understand that they can only use that label if they live in America. PoC is like, minority ethnic, which Algerians living in Algeria are not.
I completely understand your point of view. Im not that familar with this concept anyway.. we live in the UK and have not ever really needed to use this term.. hence the confusion in the replies to the questions. I initially understood it as a difference in literal skin tone. I don’t appreciate the term ‘colour’ in the first place. Thank you for clearing it up though

is the weather relatively hot in Algeria throughout the year? also is it expensive living in big cities like Algiers (rent, food, taxes etc)?
it is hot hot hot. mainly stays fairly warm throughout spring-summer-autumn. Round August there’s a lot of rain and a bit of monsoon weather. Winters can be very cold though and can get a crazy amount of snow.I’d assume like all capital cities that rent is significantly higher

Note
are algerians people of color?
Algeria is a racially diverse country due to different occupations of the country and tribal influences. They can range from very pale like myself, to olive skin tone, to black :)

One of my 7 year old pupils asked me in school today:
“Where are you from?”
And I said, “Algeria”
And the first thing he said was, “Football!”
