Background from fall semester that I painted over. There was a lot I liked just needed some refining and understanding of the world.

My latest CG project! I wanted to play around with texturing low poly and night lighting since that’s something I haven’t done much. There’s also some initial sketches figuring out layout and how I wanted the car to look.

I did a warm up drawing every day this week. Its really helped me loosen up and draw faster.

Finished a couple of backgrounds yesterday. The first is a piece I worked on for a bit and really wanted to play with color and lighting in a small scale. The second is inspired by The Loud House background style. I wanted to learn about what rules they have for perspective and form and how I could apply them to my own art. This was a pretty fun exercise and I think I might do more backgrounds in the style of other shows.

An art test I finished today for Survios

Nuke that I animated last semester. This was a really fun project because I researched a lot of old videos of tests and educational videos and then got to have fun with style and color.

For one of my classes I have decided to create a carousel! Carousels have a big place in my heart and I am so excited to see the final version at the end of this semester. This is just the first week and there is a lot I need to work on, but I’m pleased with the direction its going.

Pieces to explore different ideas for my concept art class. The assignment was to create characters or environments for a game and I got really into designing trees and plants. Someday I’ll finish the actual piece but I had so much fun playing with different ideas.

My finals for zbrush!

Characters are not my strong suit so I’ve been trying to dedicate more time to them. Luckily, I was able to create two in this class. The first one is Kumail Nanjiani and I posted some earlier versions before. Cowboy kid was a bit of a nightmare at times but I like the way he turned out. Definitely have a lot to improve but not too shabby for my first time in zbrush.

Really trying to get better about what I’ve been working on in school. This is the first project that I’ve done in zbrush and he’s not quite done yet, lots of little details to add, but really pleased with how Kumail is turning out.
