Possible ACOTAR & Crescent City crossover theory:

Azriel’s blade ‘Truth Teller’ is the matching pair to Ruhn’s ‘Starsword’ sword. In Crescent city Ruhn mentions that his sword used to have a matching dagger, but it’s been missing for centuries.

It could be the arc for Azriel‘s book or the next crescent city:

‘when knife and sword are reunited, so shall our people be’

Also, Ruhn‘s father says the line ‘like calls to like’ when talking about the horn and sword, which is the exact same line in ACOSF about cauldron made calling to the dead troves. What if it’s for the knife as well?

They might also be related through Azriel’s mothers side, whether distantly or closely. They both have shadow gifts and Ruhn mentions his Starborn gifts come from the Fae in Avallen. I think we’ll learn more about where Azriel’s mother comes from in future books and maybe even more hints about it from Ruhn’s perspective in CC2. Perhaps they’re both descend ants from Pelias, the first Starborn prince?
