2. Africa, “Mitamba Yalagala Kumchuzzi”
When I first started listening to this song, it wasn’t what I expected. It started with a rustic violin sound. When I saw the title as “Africa” i wasn’t expecting a violin. Then as the song progressed, it sounded more like an African tribal sound. Then, once the singing started, it made me feel as if I was actually in African, listening to this in person. The way the music blended with the voices singing was really beautiful, and when the voices started singing by their selves, without the music, really made it feel like you were in the deserts of Africa. This song really grasps the feeling of Africa and the music that thrives there. It is so distinct, and do beautiful in such a unique way that you would be able to hear its unique and beautiful sounds from a mile away. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this. The pureness and unique sounds where very soothing and satisfying to listen to.

1. Aaron Copland- Hoedown
Hoedown, by Aaron Copland is an absolute classic that most people have heard of in there lifetime. The song immediately starts vary upbeat and loud. As the song progresses, it reaches a section that is still fast tempo, but not as intense and loud. It remains like this for about 15-20 seconds of the song. After this section, the song goes back to the loud, up beat tune it started with. After about a minute of this, the music’s tempo slows down, and it gets much quieter. This continues for about 30 seconds in the song. After the quiet part ends, it slowly starts to build up into a grand finale, where the original tune is played, but this time, louder, and more intense. I really enjoy listening to this song and all the tempo changes and range it has.
