His eyes widened at the notion of taking two, let alone three. Without thinking about it, and nearly without hesitation, he reached into the bag and grabbed the first three he got his hands onto. When he realized he was a little greedy, the apples already being hugged to his chest, he looked at the girl.
"Sorry.... Th-thank you... Uhm..." He didn't know what to do now. He was standing in front of her, holding three apples nearly for dear life, and wanted nothing more than to begin eating them. However, he wasn't sure if he was supposed to do something else to thank her or not. He didn't have very much practice on that bit. Begging he knew how to do, saying thank you...not so much.
"I'll...I'll leave you alone now. Thank you."
The Boy with Cat Ears
After the man had disappeared, she took a look around. No others were in sight and she couldn’t spot a figure hiding behind anything quite yet. Having wondered if she took long, Leanne released a small breath and was about to walk off. However, she stopped to looked back as a voice called out, only to see the boy from before hiding behind a trash bin. This made the teen gasp softly and walked over. Arriving, and although unsure what to say, he managed to speak before her. The mention of a rose made her blink before processing the hair part. This made a pale hand lift to touch the side bun which was styled in a floral-like fashion. His comment also made her face suddenly burn, causing the lowering of her gaze. “Th-thank you,” stuttering, she also nodded her head at how her hair was like a rose.
"U-um, of course. I… I wanted to help you anyways." The girl opened the shopping bag which revealed the few apples and other items. It didn’t feel right giving him something that fell on the ground, however it could not be helped. "You can actually have two… or three, if you want." Leanne glanced up at him, the bag open and ready for him to take the apples.

It was only when the man left back inside and the girl was left alone did he poke his entire head around the corner. It looked like the girl was about to walk off and he couldn't help himself. He yelled out a, "Hey," and watched the girl turn around. He swallowed nervously and motioned for her to come over, only after making sure no one was watching.
He hoped to ask for an apple, maybe even two if he could get lucky enough, but he wasn't counting on it. The girl did look nice enough but even the nice people he met couldn't give him too much. However, it was only when she was close enough did he realize something.
"Your hair is a rose...?" He blinked after he realized he said that out loud and shook his head. "I-It's...pretty...."
Embarrassment took over as his cheeks flushed and he bowed his head in apology.
"I'm sorry....I....was just hoping if...well..." His pleading eyes glanced up at her. "If...I can have an apple? I just want one..."
The Boy with Cat Ears
The girl was startled upon the individual appearing and then running off after taking the beanie back. She had twirled around to stop him before a man approached her some time shortly. It didn’t occur to her until that moment of his arrival that the boy before must have been trying to evade him.
This was further proven as the other portrayed his annoyance. With a shake of her head to his question, the boy actually hadn’t hurt her at all. At least not on purpose. The bump from early had given her a scratch but it was nothing to fret about. Though, what was odd is that she caught on to the owner calling him a ‘thing.’ "Th-thing? No, sir… I am fine," she softly replied to his inquiry. As he picked up her things, she couldn’t help but glance back in the direction the boy, and whatever else he was claimed to be, went. Upon taking the bag of her produce, emerald hues once again were fixated towards the owner speaking with her. “Thank you. However, I am fine and will be careful.” While conversing, a sense of guilt fell over her. The teen couldn’t help a feeling of sympathy pass over due to the other teen’s misfortune. Leanne may not have a clue what was going on in his life, but she wanted to help. In fact, the thought about giving some of her groceries to the individual crossed her mind even if the standing before her totally discouraged it. Perhaps, an act of some kindness towards the white-haired boy could lift his spirits and make his day better for all she knew. That is, if he hasn’t completely run too far for her to possibly catch up.

The moment she smelled the blood from when he grasped his hands her pupils had dilated. The scent wasn't what got her, it was the sudden act of smelling it. She didn't expect any of it, and then he went on to scratch the table. It was enough to make her stand up and back off a few steps. She had no idea if he was going to try and attack her or not. Sure, she could handle herself if that were the case, but the last thing she'd need on her plate right now is a dead human in the house she was trying to hide in, even if she was, technically, intruding.
When he finally settled down and sat back in his seat, she swallowed and stared at his hands. Had she caused this? Did she convince this man that he was insane because he heard a voice in his head? Others would simply shrug it off...but he seemed highly acute to all of it. If she didn't cause it, she was certainly making it worse.
Now that he was calmed down she looked for a piece of cloth. Something to wipe his hands down with. She didn't really see any sort of thing readily on the table, so she picked up a piece of the cloth he ripped off and made sure that wood bits weren't into it. Without verbally asking him, she gently took one of his hands in hers and began dabbing at the marks he gave himself. Her eyes were fixated on the color and she honestly wanted nothing more than to just lick it off...but she had to contain herself. For the sake of actually being able to stay here, she couldn't scare him any more than she already had.
She sat back down after the dabbing proved to be useless at this point in time, she tore her gaze from the blood and looked at him.
"This is my fault...I'm afraid. You're not going crazy," or what she assumed was purely her fault.
"Please, if you take care of your hands, I will explain myself."

Her brows had furrowed into confusion at hearing that and she honestly thought about the question for quite a while. However, all her thinking didn't draw her any conclusions. Out of everything he could have asked her, that was the question he avoided asking before? It didn't make any sense. When she began thinking about everything she said to him thus far, she didn't say anything that could be considered self-contradictory. Then she thought that maybe he really did know something about her. That thought placed a frown on her lips as she looked at him.
"What do you know...?"
Despite his best efforts at trying to hide it, she could tell that he was upset, and she knew only she could be the cause.

He listened to her as he put a spoonful of lemon preserve in his empty cup and pour hot water over it. Staring at the cup like an idiot, he bitterly smiled and debated what to ask. His curiosity died as soon as he had a hunch that she might not be a human and was chased by potentially dangerous people who would probably not care much about dragging civilians into their fight. Regardless of her motive or intention, he hated that he was in the middle of another conflict. The tea was now cold and already lost its flavor, though he emptied it without a second thought. Breaking the handle of his teacup, he took a deep breath and tried his best not to raise his voice. He first was happy, then scared out of death, and now annoyed. If he were to die, he wanted to die peacefully. He wanted no trouble and tried his best to stay low, but all those his desperate attempts to avoid conflicts were in vain. Perhaps he was overreacting to this odd encounter, but he knew that whisper wasn’t normal. There was no voice that had such frightening impact on his psyche. He first thought that was a mere coincidence, but it was definitely her doing. That whisper was sort of a cue, and he followed her order like a doll and let her in the house.
"Why are you so self-contradictory?"

"For someone who wants to look annoyed you sure sound like you're having fun." Tirnen didn't seem amused by his answer and he quietly followed the young man to a more secluded area away from the rowdy crowd. When they were alone he glanced back at the entrance of the alley they came through and then back to Tirnen.
"I apologize for causing you trouble, but to make it worth something, I did learn a bit about the people here. Fashions change, words evolve, and politics are refined, but the people still seem to stay the same no matter where you are. As long as I figure out the laws here, and learn to fashionably fit in better, I think being a use to you would become very easy."
He smirked now.
"And I found your method of rescue quite amusing. Well, putting all that aside, did you find out what you needed?"

"I would love another cup. I haven't had tea in so long... I can't really remember the last time."
It was only when she said that did she realize just how long she was on the run for. Well, not precisely, but pretty close. She knew it had been years. She had that dress even for at least a decade. Which reminded her that she needed to clean it soon. As she idly began drinking her second cup of tea she noticed how nervous her host was. Whether or not it was just anxiety or if he knew the truth she didn't know.
"What were the questions you wanted to ask me? I know you had some... You don't have to be afraid of asking me them. I'm only a guest...one who owes you a lot. I can answer your questions."
She sat her cup of tea down on the table to let the young man know that he had her undivided attention and that she would answer his questions, even if she was nervous about the subject he potentially had in mind.

"Oh...," she asked with a blink and then smiled. "Sure. Of course."
Despite her willingness to comply, lest she get thrown out of the house, she was nervous about the questions he would ask her. Was he going to ask her the general questions any normal person would, like who was after her, or was he going to ask what happened earlier when he first saw her--about how he couldn't remember clearly on how he allowed her inside? A complete stranger.
Not just a complete stranger, but one who looked...off. Normal human beings didn't possess naturally white hair until old age and they never really possessed red eyes. Sure, some reddish brown eyes, but not red. She had both in one package. Maybe he was going to ask her about her looks. Staying with someone who didn't trust you or with someone who thought you were dangerous was dangerous in itself, especially if said person was a human. They were such fickle creatures...and so accident prone.
To show that she was no threat she sat down in one of the chairs when he did and took the cup of tea from him when it was offered to her with a "thank you." As she waited for the potentially dreaded first question, she took a sip of the tea to hopefully calm her nerves. She looked down into the cup when she noticed the tea didn't taste bad at all. The smell was quite nice as well.

'Yost,' he thought to himself with a raised eyebrow. That was certainly an interesting name. Rhymed with lost. Well, he certainly seemed to be so. Skipping a few centuries of "evolution" within the human race certainly did give him the feeling of being lost. When Tirnen left his sight so suddenly he couldn't help but smirk.
"As you command, Lark."
He left the alleyway to find something better to do with his time and see what everyone was interested in around these parts. Quite a few people he walked by were talking about the museum being broken into. Some of them were families and spoke about how disappointed they were at how the new artifact was missing--stolen. They all seemed so common. That was when something caught his eye as he stopped and glanced over at a stall. He noticed that a young woman was trying to sell gold jewelry. She looked to him, but before she could speak, he began to walk away. That was when a guard stopped him.
"You, don't look unless you have intentions on buying," the guard bellowed out and made himself look tall and important. Seijiro was hardly impressed.
"I have no intentions of acquiring simple trinkets." The guard didn't seem happy at hearing Seijiro say that at all.
"You callin' my girl's fine works of art trinkets?!"
Seijiro remembered then Tirnen's number one rule: don't speak to anyone. It was so delicious he followed the rule exactly and decided not to answer the guard, only smile at the man.
"You better answer when I'm talkin' to you, unless you want your innards to spill all over the dirt," the guard yelled, grabbing everyone's attention in the area as the collar of Seijiro's shirt was grabbed tight.
Seijiro only smiled more and reply with a soft, "You wouldn't do that in front of children?" The guard's face was beet red now. Oh, how Seijiro wanted to laugh at out quickly this man was to anger, but he kept it in so as not to give his contractor any more grievance than has already transpired.

"Thank you, I would really appreciate that." As she followed him to wherever he kept his clothes, she glanced around at her surroundings, and took in where she was. Where the best possible exits and hiding spots were, where she would be the most safe if an attack happened, and so on and so forth. She also took note of places of interest, like the library she passed by when following him. She could tell he had a good selection by the smell of old paper and ink. When he disappeared behind a closet in a room she waited by the doorway, glancing around at what was to offer. She noticed a few pill bottles on the small bedside dresser. It made her frown, but she didn't linger on them long. When he finally gave her the spare clothes and showed her where the bathroom was, she smiled at him.
"Thank you again. You're very kind. I won't take long." She disappeared in the bathroom after that and started the tub. As the tub filled she let in some of the soap so that the dirt on her would be easier to take off. When it was finally filled she stripped and got in. A smile immediately filled her face and she let out a sigh.
She couldn't remember the last time she had a nice warm bath with a sufficient amount of soap. As she sunk in the water her relaxation only lasted moments before she snapped herself out of it. She couldn't really relax. As she glanced over at the door, she wondered how long it would take that young man out there to realize he let a stranger into his home, and to allow her to take a bath. The thought led to a sigh and she began to wash herself.
When she was clean she looked at herself in the mirror to make sure she didn't miss any spots. She could see the few freckles that speckled her cheeks and small button nose, her pink lips, and her eyes didn't look dirty anymore. Her eyebrows and hair was as white as ever and her skin was light and free of dirt. She smiled, very glad that she was finally clean, and put on the clothes the young man gave her. From there she picked up her dress and folded it neatly, then walked out of the bathroom. It didn't take her long to find him, and she smiled at him when he looked at her.
"Thank you again. My name is Lilith."

"Thank you!! Oh--thank you!"
She couldn't wait until she could stop pretending to be so helpless. Not that she would attack the man, no, quite the contrary. She just hated pretending to be weak. It felt off and wrong. That wasn't her. When she was safe inside of the house she turned to the man who was helping her and gave him a big hug, thanking him again for helping her. Well, she used the word "save" but it was really all one-in-the-same.
When she let him go she gave him a genuine grateful smile. However, she understood that this guy seemed to be...off. A few screws loose if you will. She didn't know what exactly it was, but he acted strangely considering the circumstances. Normally people would be timid or scared, but this one? He seemed...happy. Maybe not ecstatic or excited, but happy.
As her thank you's were in order and out of the way she glanced out of the windows. She was looking for anyone outside. She did lose the hunters a while back, and even if they did check the house, the moment they found the owner of it still alive and with no wounds they would be more inclined to search other places. She hoped so at least. When she was satisfied that no one was outside she moved out of view from the window and looked at the man, smiling again.
"Please...if anyone asks...I'm not here..." Running around and jumping over fences left her hair a mess and she tucked a piece behind her ear.
"Would...would it be alright for me to wash up? I've been running for weeks..."

"I had no idea humans were so peculiar with their clothes when they weren't high class. Your race certainly is odd." There were also other little rules he would have to keep in mind in order to go about unnoticed. When Tirnen finished with his clothes he gave himself a final look-down to make sure he would get it right next time.
This era and location was so strange compared to what he was used to. There were more fashions for everyone here and they seemed to wear different styles, but back at home everyone really just wore the same clothes with different colors and patterns on them. It was hard to stick out unless you really were a rich person visiting the poor sections of town and vice-versa.
Acting invisible wasn't entirely something new to him, as he did have to do it in the past, but Tirnen had presented some new pointers he found valid. Points like not talking to anyone. He would have to see how these people behaved and spoke far longer in order to actually blend in properly.
He finally looked at Tirnen and gave the man a smirk. "You're certainly proving your usefulness left-and-right."

Wolf & Prey
Vampires were always such a confusing mythical creature. Many people wanted to create their lore to their own pleasures, others wanted to make them more scary, and some wanted to turn them into more humane creatures. We hear stories of many weaknesses vampires have; crosses, holy water, garlic, burning in the sun, unable to enter a house unless invited in... The list goes on and it varies depending on where you live and who you hear it from. Their list of strengths also vary from person to person. Some say they have speeds fast enough they nearly turn invisible, that they're 50 times stronger than humans, that they can hypnotize their victims into doing whatever they want just by looking at them, and many more. Well, those in hiding that call themselves vampire hunters can set all of the stories straight.
It is true that vampires are born from a human being bitten by a vampire, but that human still has to have some blood left in them in order for the change to take effect, and they must be dead as well. If a human is merely bitten by a vampire and left alive, they'll become very ill or hospitalized. The symptoms mirror viruses related to the Ebola virus stream and treatment for such can cure a victim of a vampire bite. Most doctors don't even fantasize the thoughts of vampirism, and if they were professional at all, they never would. If left untreated the victim would bleed out from their body rejecting the virus and eventually they would die without turning. It is very painful, but some would consider it a blessing.
Because of the fact that vampires are in fact dead in nature, it makes their skin frail and weak. They no longer have the natural barriers humans have in their DNA to block out certain amounts of UV radiation. Their bodies just simply do not have that ability anymore. Because they are, in fact, a type of demon, holy water can cause burns and scarring in vampires if the water was blessed by a proper priest. Only large amounts of it can kill them, however, it is very effective in slowing them down. Garlic does nothing except smell bad, and really, it can deter anyone away from your house. Everything else that's said to kill a vampire is all fantastical and in no way is a reality. Other than burning the body or having an excess amount of holy water, you can kill a vampire by beheading them. Trying to kill them any other way simply does not work, and they quickly recover from it.
Now, their strengths, are not all too far from the speculations surrounding them. They are faster, though not so fast they seem to turn invisible, and they are stronger, though by how much we really don't know. It all depends on who you run into. Much like normal people. Vampires have near to perfect vision in the dark and they have heightened senses of hearing and smelling, though nothing close to a blood hound or to the hearing of a bat. That's another thing about them, they do not turn into bats and they do not find it funny when you suggest such a thing. They also don't find it particularly funny when you try to stab them in the heart with a wooden stake.
Getting back on subject, one of their more dangerous strengths, they really can make you do whatever they want just by looking at you. However, it's not turning you into a mindless slave/zombie, but more of implanting very strong mental suggestions into the person. 95% of the time the human doesn't even know this is occurring, even experienced hunters.
This is just about everything one would need to know about vampires in order to properly defend themselves and actually stand some chance at fighting back...but there is a breed far above the rest that even the very best hunter in the world has no clue how to dispose of. They call them the White Walkers or White Wraiths. Hunters call them this because every one of them has pure white hair, light skin complexion, and bright red eyes.
Throw away nearly everything you know about vampires with these ones. There are only ten recorded living known Whites in the world. These particular vampires come into existence through means that were supposed to be impossible; vampiric birth. That's right. Vampires can't give birth, however, through some divine or hellish intervention, ten were brought into the world through natural birth between two vampires.
The children get rid of their parents at a young age for reasons not understood by most. The young ones need a massive amount of energy and life-substance in order to solidify their existence. For this they more often than not devour the life-blood of both their parents if they are still around. These vampires are stronger, have freakish senses, and can implant even the most heinous of suggestions into a human's mind. Not only that, but they retained their ability to walk in the sunlight. True, they do sunburn much quicker and easily than humans, but if they're smart enough to wear strong sunscreen there usually is no problems. There is one strength that stands out far above the rest and that is the fact that they can seem to control whether or not they inject their victims with the vampiric venom. If they bite a victim the human can have absolutely no undesirable draw-backs unless the vampire willingly lets the venom drip from their fangs and into the victim's blood-stream.
However, despite all of this...they do seem to be more physically vulnerable than their weaker vampire counterparts. If their heart is shot or stabbed with anything they'll die, same with the head, and they do retain the need to breath. They can also get sick and can get some diseases like diabetes and HIV.
One of these White Wraiths, or White Walkers, is named Aurelia Vondrack. Out of the known 10, including her, she is the youngest. She hasn't met any of the others but she knows from word of mouth that others like her exist. She used to be a good little vampire offspring for her parents; killing without question or remorse, feeding when she was told, and even made a vampire or two at her parents' requests. When she killed her parents, like the others had, it shook her much harder than it did them. She wasn't able to control it and it felt like she was trapped within her own body, watching on as if she were watching someone else's life through their eyes. It damaged her for a long while.
Despite what others may claim, she loved her parents dearly. She looked up to them, sought them for advice, and felt safe and protected near them. She didn't want to kill them, what incentive did she have to do so? It took her centuries to get over it, and although she's back to how she once was, she refuses to kill anyone else.
This...has gotten her into a bit of trouble as of very late. Hunters caught wind of her and chased her down relentlessly. She could handle a couple, even a few to a handful of them, but twenty of them were currently in pursuit of her. She tried finding any place she could hide, but they were all abandoned and easy targets for searches. That is why she was going to attempt something new; she was going to hide inside a human's house in plain sight.
As she ran she came across a house that smelled divine of flowers. It was a natural attraction to her and she jumped right into the yard, staring at the one who was currently tending to the flowers. Her long hair, which honestly reached her knees, fell down on her back as she landed and her dress looked worn out and dirty. She had dirt on her face and she looked terrified. The moment the human locked eyes with her, she whispered into his mind, as if his conscience was speaking to him instead of her. What she whispered to him was, "She's innocent. She's hurt and scared. Someone's after her. I should help her."
She spoke with her words now and desperately pleaded, "Please, help me...! They're going to kill me--please!"

"I'm sure it will be all they're talking about. Priceless valuables being stolen right from under everyone's noses? The guards mustn't have a clue what they're doing anymore..."
He spoke mostly as pretending to be one of the town's people later in his talk. It was true, however. The guards didn't have a clue what was going on if they got something considered very valuable, rightly so he thought, stolen from them. Not that it was entirely their fault. They were under the musings of Tirnen.
After the two of them finished their breakfast they washed up and prepared for going outside. He thought it might be best following Tirnen's queues for now since the man knew this town much better than he did. Luckily he already got something to wear last night or things would become very awkward for the both of them, as well as grabbing a whole lot of unwanted attention.
Just as Tirnen wanted, the two of them slipped through the crowds without anyone's notice as they headed toward the museum.

It looked like the boy was about to say something, but when he heard a yell from the alleyway, he flinched and clutched his beanie, pulling it down his head. His eyes glanced into the alley and the owner from the restaurant was heading toward them. He panicked, not knowing if the man was going to try and hurt him, and ran for the next alley over, hiding behind a trash bin.
As the owner walked up to the girl he looked down at her and asked, "Ya okay, little miss?" A scowl quickly followed and he looked down the sidewalk where the neko boy had disappeared down, not knowing where exactly he had escaped you.
"That mangy thing hurt ya? See where it went?" He looked at the girl again. "Those things have rabies ya know. Probably have other diseases. Ya gotta be careful."
It was then that he noticed her groceries seemed to be on the ground. He picked them all up, seeing as they could easily be washed, and placed them back into the bag they came in and handed it back to the girl.
"Here. Don't get any ideas on feedin' it, ya here? Feed 'em once and they'll never leave ya alone."
As the man spoke with the girl, the boy was brave enough to peek around the corner and secretly watch. He did notice the food on the ground being picked up, and the moment he saw a ripe shiny apple his stomach growled and he frowned.
'I wish I could have apples like those...' was what he thought to himself as it disappeared into the bag.
The Boy with Cat Ears
Treading down the sidewalk unaccompanied with groceries in hand, Leanne was making her way back home after visiting the small convenience store just a block away from her apartment. The female had gone out to purchase ingredients for dinner. There wasn’t much to make for only two people, so the single bag was filled with all she needed to buy. Her emerald eyes were fixated towards the ground as she continued down the concrete path; lost in thought about her mother. The woman always came home late due to work. Her portion of dinner was left in the fridge, ready to be heated and then enjoyed. Then she was gone the next day. All the teen thought about was how she was alone most of the time. While she thought, the girl started to pass by an alleyway. Faint shouting and footsteps approaching echoed in the narrow passageway had broken her away from her thoughts. Leanne slowed before shifting her head to see what might be happening. Suddenly, her eyes widened. A figure in a hurry had run right towards her, giving her no time to act. Then—
Smack!
The two collided and Leanne was sent falling backward with a squeak, her hat flying off while the grocery bag fell to the ground along with her. The petite female sat there for a moment, feeling a stinging pain near her elbow. She had gone to touch it but it only pained her more. With a whimper Leanne realized she shouldn’t be worrying about herself. Gasping, she twirled her head to look at the other. “I-I’m so sorry!”
They had both spoken at the same time and he had actually lifted her up quite easily. Soon, she was too her feet. After blinking she bowed her head apologetically while her face reddened due to embarrassment. “I-I… sincerely apologize for this,” the soft words filled with guilt escaped from her lips. She was blaming herself with what had happened. Once the boy had apologized in return she lifted her gaze a tad quickly. He didn’t have to leave as she felt this was all her doing. “N-no, I—” The girl’s attention was caught by what looked like… cat ears on the male’s head. She stared for a moment before noticing her hat being offered back to her. Red in the face, she took it and held it to her chest while averting eye contact. “Um… thank you. But I am very sorry, a-again…”

The Boy with Cat Ears
People started showing up on the streets that others don't understand. The people, who came out of no where, had features that resembled cats. They had tails, fangs, and claws. Their pupils were slits instead of circles and their ears sat atop their heads and were covered in fur. They could see better than others in the dark and had better balance. They were faster, and stronger, and seemed to be more animalistic to everyone else. The Japanese gave these people a name that traveled throughout the rest of the world; neko.
Because of the fear of these mysterious people, nekos were driven away from others. They were not given the same privileges--they couldn't get jobs, own homes, pay for modes of transportation, and so on. In some countries they are captured and sold as pets. In others they roam homeless on the streets looking for ways to survive. Some they are even hunted. Luckily, for a particular neko boy, all he had to worry about was whether or not he was going to eat for the day and have a place to sleep when night fell. This neko boy's name was Kaiden.
———————————————————————————————————
The boy rummaged through the cans of garbage behind the local diner looking for something, anything, to eat. A half eaten sandwich, the bottom piece of an ice cream cone, a pickle...something. As he looked around he wondered why he was always so picky with these things. He was sure that if he just stomached the pieces with mold on them or grime and dirt he would be less hungry...but he just couldn't. The creak of a door opening made his hair stand on end and he froze.
'Oh no,' he thought to himself as he slowly looked over at the door. He tried stealing from the garbage at this place before and the owner was not too happy about finding out about it. Almost as if by a stroke of horrible luck, it was the owner himself, out to throw away more garbage. He could see the older man's lips curl in a scowl, then the man began shouting. The man cursed and yelled at him to get lost. Turning heel and making run for it was nothing new to him, and that's exactly what he did. What he didn't expect was to crash right into someone the moment he came out of the ally.
The two of them fell to the ground and he got up as quick as he could, shouting "I'm sorry! I'm sorry--I didn't mean to!" He didn't know what to do, but not wanting to make anyone else angry at him today, he grabbed the girl's arm and helped her up. Her hat still laid on the ground so he picked it up and dusted it off, then handed it to her.
"It was an accident.... I'm sorry--I'll leave."
Unlike the other nekos he tried to keep what he was a secret. He hid his tail in his pants, filed down his nails, tried to show his teeth as little as possible, and kept his beanie over his ears. Due to the accidental crash into the girl, however, one of his ears were poking out of his beanie unbeknownst to him.

"Well well. Sounds like I have a virtuoso as a teacher. I'm sure I'll learn the tricks in no time at all." The demon's amused smile throughout the story now turned into a smirk, as he was beginning to become accustomed to.
"I'm so very glad you're the one who stole me instead of some moron who wants something stupid like a set amount of gold or revenge on a whore who didn't give him all her attention. My first contract back and it's already looking to be so promising."
Seijiro was hardly being sarcastic with Tirnen. He didn't take contracts that were easy, like a 'moron who wanted a set amount of gold', but there were times where he had to because there simply was no one else at the time. After his strike with bad luck, in getting himself trapped, he was very happy to be fortunate enough to be found by a competent contractor and not some lazy lout.
"I am ready to learn whenever you think is suitable," and with that, he started up to finish his breakfast.

"Play a woman? I have a feeling that's a skill you're most suited for. Sounds like you spoke from experience rather than listing an example. However, getting others to behave how I want is what I do. I can go anywhere and have everyone look at me or some place where no one will. However, this does not mean I am by any means invisible. I do have limits." However, this was also something he's never had a contractor ask of him before. It was an entirely new territory. A new playing field in which he had to learn all of the rules before playing.
"Perhaps there is much you can teach me on the matter. I can't say that I'm as confident in my skills on the matter as you are...but who better to learn from than the best?"
