My best friend and I literally froze and got so nervous when we saw her that we forgot everything we wanted to say to her 😂 but we got to hug her and oh my goshhhhh she’s perfect We feel so incredibly blessed that Andrea found us (we were in a pretty high section, quite far from the stage) and that my bestie and I got to experience rep room together. She and I have been swifties since Taylor first started putting out albums and have been dreaming about the opportunity of rep room for 12 years. This is still so surreal. Thank you, Andrea, for finding us and taking the time to notice the fans that love your daughter so much, and for also being the sweetest woman EVER.... and thank you @taylorswift for being the only performer in the music industry that cares enough about her fans to want to meet them after every show. Hi @taylorswift​! My name is Magali and I’m from Argentina, Southamerica. I’ve never been a Tumblr fan but here I am learning to use it (it wasn’t so hard at the end) so I can tell you a bit about me.

I listened to Teardrops on my Guitar for the first time in 2008 and I felt in love with your music right there. It’s amazing how much things have changed in my life during this ten years but don’t matter what you were there every single day with your amazing songs.

I watched every tour come and go hoping I could see you live just once but it was not possible because I live very far away from US. Things changed last year when Agos and Doyi ( @queenswiftstan​ ) convinced me to travel with them so we can see the Rep Tour in NJ. It’s probably one of the craziest things I’ve ever done because I only knew them by Facebook (we have a group with lots of people waiting for you, you can see all of them in the picture) and met in person after buying the tickets.

So after watching 300 times every video for the boots, spending all my savings buying the tickets, taking 3 planes to NY and waiting 10 years for this moment I can finally say that I will be seeing you in Metlife Stadium New Jersey in July 20th (July 21st and July 22nd too of course) for the first time in my life!

Rep Tour Post

Hi @taylorswift (and @taylornation)! I’m Alyssa! You don’t know me; I’m fairly new to the social media fandom. But I have been a fan of yours since I heard Teardrops On My Guitar back in 2007. Since then, I have been a huge fan of you and your music. 

I was lucky enough to see you at Gillette Stadium for the Speak Now tour and had one of the greatest experiences of my life. I had just gone through a breakup when Speak Now came out, so a lot of that album really spoke to me. But Enchanted is still my favorite because it reminds me that some nights are just sparkling and, regardless of what happens after that night, it’s a memory to hold on to. So, naturally, I cried during Enchanted. I’ll never forget that truly sparkling night. I was also lucky enough to live very close to Tanglewood and have amazing parents who surprised me and my sister with tickets to see you play with James Taylor. We got there super early and were 3rd and 4th in line to get onto the lawn, so we got a spot front and center. It was a hot day and I got a sunburn, but we also got to hear your soundcheck so it was worth the wait. And then, getting to see two legends play together with my whole family was a magical experience.

I wasn’t able to make the Red tour because I was at a Latin convention (I’m absurdly cool, I know), but I did get to go the 1989 tour. By then, I had moved down to Florida and was able to go the last show of the tour, on Halloween, while I was 22. Of course, I had to dress up. 

Now I will be going to the rep tour at Gillette on July 28th, from Florida via Texas (I travel weirdly).

I’m so excited to return to the venue where I first saw you and on the eve of my 25th birthday, no less! I know it’s a longshot, but I would love to get the opportunity to meet you and tell you how important you have been in my life. But even if I don’t get to meet you, I am so happy to be able to be a small part of your life and success. I really do love you and can’t wait to see you again!

HEY TAYLOR!

I have been a fan for years and I am so excited about attending the reputation Stadium Tour this August in Toronto! Your music has been the soundtrack to my life, so it is really exciting to get to see you perform the songs that hold so much meaning for me. I am going to be attending the concert with my sister and my mom who are also really big fans of yours.

The first time that I ever saw you perform live was one of the most magical, memorable times of my life. My family and I had tickets to see you at a festival in Ottawa that was actually cancelled by the city. When we were looking into how we would get refunded for our tickets, my mom stumbled across a headline that said you were rumoured to be a special guest at James Taylor’s Tanglewood performance. She immediately convinced my dad how awesome it would be to experience Tanglewood and James Taylor, even if your being there was just a rumour. Well, we got lucky! After driving for hours from Toronto, we lined up at the gates and heard you doing a sound check! I was so over the moon excited!! When you finally came on stage that night to sing Fire and Rain, I was just freaking out with my entire family. My dad twirled us around to Love Story and we were definitely getting lots of side eye from the other people around us. You also sang Ours, which has since become my all-time favourite song of yours. It was such an unforgettable night.

Fast forward to Red Tour, which was my first stadium concert ever. We went crazy with our costumes and signs that were all about our Tanglewood experience and our shared love for James Taylor. The whole night was so much fun and we really enjoyed singing, dancing, and having the best night of our lives. My sister was able to touch your fingertip as you were heading back from the B stage. She still tells anyone who will listen about how you stopped to read our sign and smile. You are so genuine and kind, which just makes being a Swiftie even more wonderful.

When the album for 1989 was released, I couldn’t believe that you had created such a unique and completely different sound for yourself. I was in love with the whole era and it is definitely one that has so many relatable songs that just speak to me. The costumes that we made for this tour were foxes and we saw you in the pit for both Montréal and Toronto. Montréal was so fantastic because we made some great friends waiting in line to get in. Kevin from Taylor Nation also came by and chatted with us. He even took our picture for the website, which was really cool. I was so amazed at how close we were to you that it just felt like such a surreal experience. It honestly felt like you were smiling and pointing at us both nights. I have heard quite a few people say the same thing and I find it amazing that anyone can feel a connection with you in a crowd of thousands of people! You have such a gift.

I am going to be at both shows in Toronto for the reputation Stadium Tour! The first night I will be in the Right Snake Pit. For the second night, we will be in Section A9, Row 27, Seats 4,5,& 6. Our costumes are rep Firefighters because we have your back, Taylor. Those flames are a thing of the past and we are ready to dance all night long with you! Hopefully, someday I will get the opportunity to thank you in person!

I have been a fan of your’s for nine years and my best friend Natalie has been a fan for around five! I saw you for the very first time on the 1989 Tour and since then I told myself “next time I’m bringing Natalie.” Well that wish came true :) We will be making the four hour trip to see you on August 7 in Pittsburg this summer! We have our costumes planned and are already imagining what you could possibly have in store for us! I want to try to do something insanely special for Natalie this tour. Her mom was diagnosed with cancer this past year and being able to look forward to this concert has kept Natalie’s mood high. She’s beyond excited to see you for the first time (she can’t wait to hear don’t blame me live)! Natalie wasn’t able to celebrate her 16th birthday because of everything for her mom so I wanted to try to get this to you for both of those reasons. Her mom and maybe a super late birthday surprise. We will be sitting in section F8, row 16, seats 18-20 💕 Thank you so much Taylor and we love you ❤️
