Have you ever had a moment where you are so absolutely overwhelmed because the gravity of the world suddenly is too much? The realization that you couldn't read every book in the world, and its impossible to see every square inch of the Earth. The infinite possibilities, and yet I still want to do it all, read it all, see it all.

• I had my appointment to get my viola first thing in the morning [12pm lol]. They moved to a new location and it’s so so pretty. The first two pictures are from there.
• Since I was in the area, I stopped by at my usual cafe to study. Technical Mechanics again. My progress is so slow and I need to do something about that. But at least I’ve finished the first lecture.
• The blueberry muffin I got was so bad. Terribly dry.
• Recently found out my professor, as in thesis supervisor professor, is retiring this year💀💀💀. Probably before I finish mine lmao.
🌳: 2hrs 39mins.
📖: Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson. I read maybe 15 pages, which is very cute and disciplined.
☀️: So so excited about the viola. The walk to get it was so pretty and the weather was great.

6 march 2025
hihiiii <3
very basic day, i gotta revise all 14 chapters of physics cuz tmr’s my final 🥲 but yay, i started at 12 and finished revising 4 chapters (questions + derivations and notes) so pretty happy about how much i got done, it’s gonna be a long night again (when is it not) but i really hope my exam goes well tmr (cbse physics paper reactions scared me)
there’s also a rumour that i could have my math board re exam cuz the paper got leaked (😭😭😭) i might actually cry if that happens cuz math is genuinely my weakest subject, tho it’s fun, i really can’t bring myself to study that subject again.
anyways -
todo list 🎀
i still need to learn ray optics cus i skipped it all year
revise :
magnetism and matter
electromagnetic induction
alternating current
electromagnetic waves
wave optics
atoms, nuclei
dual nature (might skip)
semi conductors
i think i’ll be done with revising by around mid night and then i’ll go through the numericals and formulas again
also i did plan to finish reading ncert by the time my exams end but i really doubt ill do that 😭 boards is already a load of work, trying to fit in 11th bio is a real task so maybe i’ll just finish 11th biology by the end of march. i’ll already be reading 12th bio for boards so only 11th would be manageable after exams.
anyways,
have a nice day loves <3

First inorganic synthesis lab and I had so much fun!! I really missed doing inorganic chem :') Today I synthesized tetraiodidobis(triphenylphosphine)tin(IV) (yeah), so basically a tin coordination compound with some iodine and an organic ligand :) The product had such a brilliant color irl, the photos could never do it justice. I also got two 5's (so the highest grade), one on the quiz and one on the practical part, which is very rewarding and makes this lab even more satisfying 💖

I spent this past week with my ld boyfriend and I've been loving every second of it. I'm so calm and at peace, I'm the best version of myself when I'm with him. We've also been eating a lot of delicious food, which is always a plus.
I've been taking a little pause from my studies while I'm out of the city. Although I feel a little guilty and anxious about it, I know that I just need to take a breath and then I'll have the energy to start again🌟
We can do this🫂

Brain empty, no thoughts
Not ready for my politics exam tomorrow; only managed to study for ~30min, I’m just tired. My tutor made fun of me when he saw me working through another math mock exam during my break. Well. I’m exhausted and can’t think straight, let’s hope tomorrow will be better…

I don't know how to feel or what to do tbh... my friend of 10+ years proposed to me yesterday... out of the blue and I feel like he did this cuz he feels sorry for me... somehow that's what my brain is telling me... so obviously I rejected it... life is so weird atp.

07.03.2025
• Not a very productive day. It was almost off to a good start then I ruined it. I spent about 4 hours in bed reading before I went to the lab. 0/10 on discipline.
• I got back and procrastinated for a bit before I went grocery shopping. There was a strawberry sale, 500g for 1.25.
• Finally did some laundry. It’s in the dryer as I write and I’m trying to use the time to study but it’s not easygoing.
• Studied in really short bursts but at least it was something.
🌳: 58mins. I’m nearly done with chapter one of Technical Mechanics🤡. I need to solve a few more problems then I’ll let myself move on.
📖: Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson. I finished it. Finally. 3.5/5 stars. It was definitely more enjoyable than the previous books but I gave it the same rating as the rest. I may be suffering from recency bias but when am I not.
☀️: had a very fulfilling journaling session and I got the grade for an exam I took in Feb. I’m really looking forward to tomorrow.
Sort of spoilers but not really

“But for a minute or two I did forget / myself and everything else. I know I did. / For when I turned back I didn't know / where I was. Until some birds rose up / from the gnarled trees. And flew / in the direction I needed to be going.” —Raymond Carver
My winter break turned into a bit of mental break, but I’m back now (at least for a while). Since then, I’ve started and almost finished my last semester of law school. My grades from last semester came back stellar, I’m working at a defence firm for a practicum this term, and I’m finally feeling settled about where I am and what I want to do. I also just got back from a highly successful weekend, but more on that later. Take care, all.

Day 6 of 30 Days of Productivity | more and more and more physics…
Studied with a friend. I was despairing over rigid bodies and he was suffering with linear algebra for physicists. At least we walked back to the bus stop together and shared some snacks, as a treat. I’ve been meaning to continue House of Leaves but I’m too tired lately. Maybe once these exams are done I’ll get back on track 💫
P.S. We found that optical illusion decal on the ground out of nowhere…
