Have you ever had a moment where you are so absolutely overwhelmed because the gravity of the world suddenly is too much? The realization that you couldn't read every book in the world, and its impossible to see every square inch of the Earth. The infinite possibilities, and yet I still want to do it all, read it all, see it all.

So, my first regular post contains something irregular — my illness got worse and I decided to take a break from uni for a couple of weeks. I’m back in my hometown Tokyo, grilling dango sweets with my SO, and still preparing for my presentation.

We started the emergency rotation, it has given me the will to keep going, thank god. Please look for something that helps you take that breath in and be confident in where you stand and in where your path is taking you. I was lucky enough that it has reached me while I was not looking for it. But I have been feeling more like myself, more centered and hopefully I can also become the strenght for my friends. Other than that, already making a count down to when my parents and sister come to visit me and celebrate the end of the year!

Gene twirls
[23/11/2024]
First MBoC study session in a month or so. Unclouded by personal conflict, my mind slowly becomes receptive again to all the way our genes twist and roll.
-> 🗃 started writing index cards for Chapter 4
-> 📚 about 30 pages left to read in Chapter 3
Before and after. It is getting dark around 3pm now.

Day 16
Today was spent either studying or making food and eating. Honestly I haven't been so dedicated to making good use of the day for a long time. Today made my past productive days look like child's play. But it's good that I had such groove and still took breaks.

Really want to try the 30 days of productivity challenge with December deadlines coming up and plenty still to do.
❄️DAY 1 OF PRODUCTIVITY❄️
Tea made in the eras tour mug of course!
As of today, I’m completely caught up on my lectures and am finally finishing my lab report due this week. It’s a long one but I’ll be so glad to have done it by the end of today.
Will be going out to town tonight to relax before the real work starts tomorrow.

I’m fascinated by bilirubin production at the moment, and it’s led me down a rabbit hole to EPO production and mechanism of action (I’m working my way backwards I think).
Also, does anyone have any recommendations for authors similar to Jane Austen? I’m almost done with her books but I’m not done with her genre.

neurobiology study session🧬
Just got done with my about two hour long study session for my exam on Tuesday. Felt rather poorly physically halfway through but managed to finish my stuff. Everything makes sense and I found the perfect material for the topic my teacher hinted at. If I’m guessing correctly I already know what at least one task will be about- and I have the full answers for it! I’m so satisfied and sort of proud of myself for figuring this out and starting early!!
now off to watching soccer, let’s hope we win :)
