I was kinda nervous to post this drawing originally lol but anyway, from last year technically so not too new anymore. For some reason I thought I’d be criticized for drawing something so abundantly queer since I never posted anything like that before,, so yeahh, he still goes by he/him, he’s just a bit unsure of himself and denying some feelings about his gender and sexuality, and no he wouldn’t shave still. But yeah shame and trying to find acceptance is a common theme for him.

ehhh I could go on a long ramble but I’m going to try to post more consistently and finish my wips so actually expect more art cause despite the unaccomplished feeling I feel rn, I’m still determined to try to draw more than I did in 2024 🖤

Bit of a rambling about this year

I mainly focused on portraits and color this year I think, I have never really used colors before this year so I’d say that was the improvement + shading and a bit of anatomy improvement though I haven’t really shown any of it on here.

But yeah anywaysss two of these drawings aren’t even finished but lol,, This is just some of the stuff I did this year it’s been a rough year with medical issues and a really bad headspace, and plus some other things going on that I won’t get into. Despite it I still wish I could’ve pushed myself to do more because I don’t think I nearly did enough. Overall though these drawings are probably the best I’ve done this year I’d say (´･ω･`)

“we need more weird art!” but not anything that makes me feel uncomfortable or alienated or challenged. “weird art” but i don’t want to consider the perspective of anyone i might have real irrevocable differences from. “weird art” but everything must be carefully couched in the language of white middle-class american sensibilities at all times. “weird art” but it has to be picked from a list of pre-established “weird” tropes that i recognize from carefully curated lists on letterboxd.

The new year and my birthday sort of send me into panic mode to feel accomplished so you might or might not see a lot of art from me I can’t say for sure lol

I’m hoping it makes me draw a lot but so far the motivation is 10% there, but I do have this fun wip I’d like to complete if I can pull it off ٩( ᐛ )و

Not normally how I draw her but my style is never consistent, or I guess my lack of style makes it less consistent but experimenting a lot I hope in the long run will be useful. Cause right now it’s frustrating not to see things in a certain style every drawing but maybe one day I’ll finally be able to make up my mind lol

Page 7 completed! Poor Leviathan may have become king but with his father so suddenly gone, as well as so many of his brothers lost, he was just unprepared in every way imaginable. He could barely maintain his own followers, let alone the rising tensions in the kingdom. Also, for those who don't know I'm going to be doing lore breakdowns on youtube for my story!
