I feel that the word “transgender” is sometimes associated with a disability. A contagious hindrance that makes it impossible to navigate through life. People First Language is putting the person before the disability because they are so much more than just a disability. Why the need to address a women who is transgender... transgender? At the end of the day they are a women.
