The further I've strayed from Dungeons and Dragons discourse (due to playing other TTRPGs), the more strange the concept of RAW in arguments. It's as though there is the split personality for the game of the game as it is written compared to the way it could be interpreted. And it only happens in DnD as far as I know.
It's almost like someone who read the rules of Baseball declared the pitcher's mound is a 5th base because it has all the characteristics of one and isn't explicitly stated as not a base in the rulebook.

Started playing around with a virtual pet game idea. The idea revolves around the pets growing in whatever way you want as you care for them. Kind of like a Tamagotchi crossed with Spore's creature creator. Not the full sandbox obviously, rather a guided evolution process.
Gives me an excuse to download the latest version of Godot Engine to tinker with again.
