Insomnia-Induced Word Vomit at 3:45am

Don't forget your passport. Where is your passport?  Don't forget to pack. Where's that white shirt I bought?  My back hurts. What did I do to deserve this? So hungry.  How many hours do I have until I need to wake up? So angry.  Did you ever notice that when you start think about breathing, you have to consciously breathe?  Silence is deafening.  When will I hear back?  I shouldn't have drank so much coffee today.  What am I eating tomorrow?  Don't forget to buy groceries. Should I go to the gym tomorrow?  I should go to the gym tomorrow. Why is this happening to me?  Forget about it.

Chemistry

Throw me an acid-base reaction, organic synthesis, or titration experiment and I'll crank it out with no problems. But ask me how to explain the chemistry between two people - or even identify it - and I'm at a loss.

My textbooks didn't prepare me for this.
