I was just wondering if when Lucifer said that the tv « scrambles the brain » it was in a « old school » way, that he just doesn’t really like these kind of technologies OR if it’s because he knows Vox manipulates sinners through it and he just can’t be bothered with it ?

I have really no answer for that and don’t think we’ll ever have any but I’ve been brain rotting way too much on these series so take my thoughts or leave them !

I think making Lucifer the sin of pride out of the seven is a really smart move.

Like said by Charlie when she reads Luci’s story at the very beginning, Heaven made it that Lucifer can’t see the good in humanity.

He gave free will to humans and bad things as much as good ones transpired from it but all he can see is the bad, all he’s able to see are sinners and their crimes.

You can see in the balcony scene how deeply disappointed and frustrated he is towards the fact he gave humans free will, like he says it himself « everything is terrible » about it.

When you take into consideration the fact that he’s the sin of pride just imagine how hurt he is. He is the most prideful man around hell, it’s literally his title, and they made him face a never ending shame for giving what he gave to humanity.

He’ll forever be convinced that he made an enormous mistake and will always feel shame and bitterness towards it, his pride is forever hurting whenever he remembers his act.

When you know like yeah, sinners are bad and everything the whole series represents it but he also created beautiful things he should be proud of but just can’t because Heaven prevent him from it.

Also, something that I find all the more interesting regarding Charlie this time is that he’ll never be able to support her dream fully. He is unable to see the good in sinners and will never think it possible. He will help her yes, which is amazing really, but he will never believe in it and he’ll forever suffer from it.

If I do say so myself it’s such a smart move from heaven to make him unable to witness the good in humanity as a punishment and also very clever from Vivziepop.

While rewatching the pilot I noticed that in Alastor’s song at the end he dressed Vaggie very similar to Susan.

He doesn’t like her ass !!!

Just a funny lil thing I thought about is, you know how in this very pretty doodle made by our dear Alastor he pointed at the radio tower by saying it’s the « best part ».

But now that Lucifer will live at the hotel with everyone he got his lil apple on the other side of it, opposite from Alastor.

And I can’t help but imagine, if Alastor ever did a new commercial or just doodled about the hotel again he would criticize Luci’s apple and say how much it sucks compared to his magnificent radio tower. Just some really silly thoughts I had.

I find it interesting how in Hell’s Greatest Dad Lucifer says « Who also happens to be your blood », referring to how angelic blood, his own, flows inside of Charlie’s veins.

Lucifer feels so threatened by Alastor because of his relationship with his daughter that his argument is to bring up the fact that they’re blood relatives. A lot of us know how sometimes blood doesn’t make everything and you can part ways with your family no matter what flows in your veins but he used it as an argument as of why he, Lucifer, is the actual father figure.

All he says in this song is that he’s gonna help her, he’ll be there and will give her anything, but on the other hand Alastor says, to reason, that he already helped her, he already did so much for her and was present in her hardest times. Charlie has an actual reason to eventually see Alastor as a father figure more than Lucifer during that time of her life. The only « valid » argument Lucifer has in this song is their blood bound. While Alastor has an actual bound with Charlie that he created through ups and downs and by supporting her dream from day one like he says it himself.

Also little note at how Charlie only reacts to Alastor’s words, not to her own actual father. Not even to mention the whole clip where she’s eternally awkward in Lucifer’s presence but very at ease with Alastor. Lucifer really did lose this battle but absolutely not war, I expect a lot of father-daughter bounding in s2.

I was brain rotting over the potiential things that could happen in S2 after it was revealed that the Vees are gonna be the main antagonists when I remembered something and saw no one point it out.

In The Show Must Go On we aaall know that Vox has a torn photo of Alastor and like yeah haha funny they look like a divorced couple.

But yall realize that to begin with Vox has a PHOTO of Alastor ??

How many times did he make clear that « this face was made for radio », making sure that every time he gets on a screen he’s blurred by statics and so on, so there could never be actual records of his appearance.

But Vox has a totally fine and normal photograph of Alastor, where he hits the pose and smile for the camera. That means that at some point Vox got him to take a photo with him and he WILLINGLY did it.

Just how close were those two ? For Vox to have probably the cleanest photo ever taken of Alastor ever since he stepped in hell.

(Also I love how it confirms that Alastor can chose or not to have the statics, it’s really something that he can control and he just chooses not to ever be taken in video or photo, which I relate to tbh)

I’ve never seen anyone mention that but when we see Zestial for the first time and he walks with Alastor in episode 3 he mentions rumors of Al « falling to holy arms ». And when he does Alastor looks back (kind of towards the « camera ») and then laughs it off by saying he just took some well deserved rest.

I love the theory saying that Al has a contract with Lilith, wouldn’t that kind of strengthen it ? He could be referring to something else that I don’t remember or didn’t catch buuut it made me tick.

In French there’s this saying that goes « haut comme trois pommes » and literally translates to « tall like three apples » which means being short.

Now. We know that Alastor knows a bit of French and Lucifer is heavily associated with apples.

I was watching Hazbin hotel for the second time and during the first meeting with Adam scene there’s a moment where Charlie baby realizes that the man in front of her is actually « the first dick » so yk, the first man and everything blah blah, what he loves to brag about.

But then she says « Ooooh, that explains a lot » and I just realized what it, in fact, explains.

Lucifer didn’t let her go to the meeting in his place because he’s already being supportive of her, we know that this will come later in episode 5, but because the meeting was with Adam out of all angels, the one he stole the woman from (actually two first ones but meh).

He didn’t want to see his ass and sent his daughter instead to ditch the meeting and I find it absolutely hilarious.
