The dragon had zero to none time to react as she pushed her hand down her chest, spitting the red liquid into his forked tongue. The beast let out a noise, giving out grunts and huffs through his nostrils as the pomegranate liquid took effect on his  body.

The woman pulls her heart out slowly and carefully as her body leans to the side. She looks at the other and away before she takes a bite, sucking lightly. She then moves to return the heart as quickly as possible, her mouth full of her blood. Daene lifts the dragon’s head and pulls his mouth open, spitting the fluid in his mouth. “I know it’s gross, just swallow.”

He watched her carefully, his wings trembling at her delicate touch as he stretched his back, the bones cracking ever so slightly as he let out a grunt out of pleasure. This form had been kept inside of him for so long, it truly was a relief to let it out fully. His long boned hands moved to rest in each side of the tiny human as he closed his eyes.

Daene watched the transformation with wide eyes. It had been awhile since she had seen a dragon transformation. It had been ages since she had been in her own. As soon as he was done and gave off a weak noise she reached forward, placing her delicate fingers on his wings. “These are very frail indeed..” she mumbled quietly and leaned forward. Her hand moved to her chest as she began to press into it, letting it sink into the flesh and further. Blood began to seep from her chest.

"alright." He nodded, taking a few steps before he shook his head and the bones began to crack out of his skin. It was a quick but awfully beautiful transformation, the blue fire surrounding him to then settle inside the dragon's exposed rib cage. The bony dragon looked at the blond girl, giving a weak noise as he laid back down.

She blinks and nods a small smile coming to her features. She nodded. “Yes, you do.”

"perhaps that would bring me joy." He nodded a few times. "well, do I need to shift?"

She let’s out a long breath and nodded slowly. “Let me help you… or.. if you wish you may.. rest.”

"sheesh.." He thought about it, rubbing his forehead. "I cannot produce long fire breaths as I did before.. it's mostly smoke that comes out. Thats really harsh"

She gives a dip of her head. “I’m sorry. I consider you a friend as of now so it’s difficult to say. My own personal interests conflict with what my true judgement should be honestly.”

"psh you're not helping" He chuckled, waving the subject with his hand before pressing his finger against his bottom lip in pure thought. "It's truly confusing.. it felt.. frustrating"

"You shouldn’t base your life off of other’s time limits and life." she nodded softly. "But if it is what you wish I will not tell you to do otherwise.."

"I'm not sure if it's what I truly wish for." He let a long sigh go, his fingers roaming through his hair. "I'm not- sure. I mean Dominick is all grown up and he has his own kids now, my other daughter is fine I suppose, she sort of doesn't talks to me so.. perhaps it truly is my time to go."

She seemed to hesitate at the words. “for most dragons.. yes. I can however help you if that is not what you wish for.”

"my wings don't carry me anymore. Is it time to retired yet?" He gave a small chuckle that soon faded away.

"Yes of course. What can I help you with?"

He smiled, a relieved sigh passing his lips as he carefully got up, the panther settling itself against the couch. "sounds amazing, I'll wait for you there" The demon nodded to himself, moving to get the car keys as he tried to remember where the coffee shop was. Probably she'll arrive there firstly but that was fine, he wouldn't be very late anyway. "thank you" He said before hanging up and walking to his garage, starting the car and pulling out on the driveway as he searched for that special place.
