I've created this account to gather all content related to Nekomaru and Akane in one place, whether it's individual or joint, as a couple (ship) or friendship.

Now, you might be wondering, "Why?" And I say, "Why not?"

Considering that this pairing isn't really popular compared to others in the Danganronpa series, I thought it would be good to have a dedicated space for it. At the same time, it's an opportunity to give more visibility to fan works related to both, including fanarts, fanfics, edits, comics, memes, etc. If you want your work to be shared or reblogged, feel free to ask!

Quick questions:

Are you the same person from Instagram? Yes, I am.

Why are you no longer on Instagram? The issue of image quality, the format they force you to upload posts in, and the fact that, apart from photos, you can't do much else is inconvenient. Additionally, Instagram no longer allows searching hashtags chronologically, which is annoying because I can't share recent content as it will always be overshadowed by what is popular. Also, reblogging on Tumblr is more convenient than just having to upload it to stories and then save it as a "highlight." I don't think I'll completely abandon Instagram; I'll just activate it as I feel comfortable.

Can I submit my own contributions? Of course! You can do so either in Ask or through private message.

You reblogged something, but I really don't want my content on your blog. No problem! I know some people like to create content for Nekomaru and Akane purely in a friendly, non-romantic way, and it might be uncomfortable for it to be on a ship-dedicated account. So, if you want your content removed from this blog, it will be done without any issue.

I also have a blog dedicated to a ship. Can we affiliate? No problem! It'll be fun to have affiliates and promote each other.

I adore your most recent survivors cuddle pile (just as much as I love all of your art of the survivors piling together to nap) and I’ve noticed that Akane is the big spoon in your art. Do you think there’s anyone she’d let be the big spoon among the survivors/her class? I think big spoon fits her but I love the idea of her getting to be the little spoon and I trust your judgment

My piece for the @dr-ultimate-vacation-zine! This has been waiting to be posted for awhile now and I’m SO happy to share it at long last (it’s been even longer since I forgot about it in my drafts instead of posting it when I first was able to. Oops).

This was technically the first zine piece I ever made (I finished it in November of last year-) and seeing this zine release finally is such a proud moment. There’s something very satisfying of it finally being out.

I’ve said it on the Zine’s page before, but I’m still very thankful for everyone’s patience and support.

Nekomaru loves running with his Pawmot. Get those steps in!!! Nekomaru always had a weak heart so Pawmi’s healing ability comes in handy! At least until Nekomaru turned in his heart for a robotic one.

Could you make a double date between Akanidai and Fuyupeko? Or just the four of you going out together? I like to think of the idea that Akane and Fuyu became close friends after case 4, and that they both agree to go out with their respective partners together. I hope I'm not disturbing you. I enjoy your art very much.

I do like Akanidai a lot! If I may gush about their compatibility with Fuyupeko for a second:

I think Akane and Fuyuhiko have a very good sibling dynamic. Akane would see Fuyuhiko as one of her younger siblings. Fuyuhiko will see himself in Akane regarding not showing weakness to anyone (as evident in the convo where Fuyuhiko telling Akane she has to be more honest with her feelings). I believe Fuyuhiko and Natsumi’s relationship was also plagued with miscommunications in the light novel so in a way Akane is similar to Natsumi. They’re trauma bonding.

Nekomaru and Peko has been on my mind a lot because of the trivia that Fuyuhiko and Nekomaru switched designs midway thru productions. So there’s a beta design of Fuyuhiko as SHSL Team Manager. So I made an entire AU if Nekomaru and Fuyuhiko stayed as their initial roles. Nekomaru was born a yakuza, and thank to his big stature he never felt the need to overcompensate. So he’s much more confident in the role and trained from a young age to be as strong as his subordinates. He trained a lot with Peko, proving to Peko he doesn’t need to be protected all the time. Peko is a little more lax with Nekomaru. Those two would have a more brothers in arms kind of relationship. On the flip side, Fuyuhiko is good at sports but no one wanted him as a player because of his size. So he decided to support from the sidelines and become the ultimate team manager. He still needs to be loud and abrasive because no one takes him seriously but damn does he brings results.

Also Nekomaru seems to think a lot about Fuyuhiko and Peko in the main game so I appreciate Nekomaru.

In Dangnronpa S Nekomaru is training Fuyuhiko to become bulkier so that’s nice. Meanwhile I think Akane and Peko would train via fighting a lot. I HC Akane to be super Aromantic and Nekomaru on the ace spectrum so Akane likes to talk to Peko a lot about her relationship because Peko doesn’t make it into a big deal.
