The Imperfect Perfect Man.

Gentlemen are not perfect, but they are held to a higher and different standard than the rest of men. They are often perceived as the most noble of men and their conduct is set to be the benchmark. The task of being a gentlemen especially in today’s society is equally to being a rebel among outlaws. Many say that chivalry and its companions are dead. I merely believe that the gentlemen in most men died due to various circumstances. One can argue that with the demise of values and virtues and with it manners and behavior, 50% of men don’t feel compelled to step up to the plate. The rise of the strong woman and feminists have scared the other half of the male population to the point where you can witness identity crisis in terms of conduct with many adolescents.

If the gentleman is perceived as the pinnacle of man, why have they become an endangered species? Why do only a few good men feel the need to carry the torch of gentlemanhood further?
