waiter!! more concept designs please!!

this theme is “seasons” !! im thinking this could be a gamepass skin ^_^ design notes below!

design notes:

- i literally made this entire concept design just to have a reason to put an entire strawberry flower on sprout’s head

- astro originally was gonna have a coat like vee, but then i realized capes exist. i also accidentally color coded him the aroace flag 😭😭

- vee is meant to look like those christian white girl autumn outfits, i thought itll be funny LOL

- i was debating on changing vee’s costume name to “autumn glow” which her hurt screen would have been a sunset logo in the back

- seashell shelly. good day. [her outfit was difficult to make without her being those typical pinterest outfits 👎]

- pebble is supposed to be “all the seasons” type design. the purple fish is a barnaby ref [finn’s toy fish in his head] and i guess the orange is finn ⁉️

- pebble’s design is supposed to be 3d modeled

So a week ago, I sprained my ankle and couldn't walk for 3 days. I'm used to hiking at least an hour a day with my huskies so not being able to walk at all was driving me crazy. And in my jittery sedimentary state, I kept getting visions of this blursed being: a biblically accurate axolotl. There was nothing I could do but draw it. I'm all better now and able to walk again, now back to making less cursed art (maybe)

REALLLLLL okay so I have this dnd character named ms erwie and she’s a great eared nightjar artificer who’s 130 years old. a surgeon fucked up her hip (shout out kiwi) like a bunch of years ago, so she made her own wheelchair. and it’s Amazing. its base is modeled off of a motorized wheelchair, But it’s a steampunk setting so it’s not electricity powered & smoke pours out of pipes at the back.

But what you wanted to hear about was the Attack wheelchair. she has different modes on it and one of it is Attack Mode. in this mode, her wheels get giant spikes on them & a bunch of weapons come out of the back (akin to like. the bridge where papyrus gets out all the weapons surrounding frisk). her combat is silly because she has a charge attack (homebrewed and named “beep beep”) where she can run people over. her spells are also all done by her wheelchair and not herself. and I was going to make her attack like wild magic with the explanation that she has so many buttons that she made Years ago that she doesn’t remember what does what, but I didn’t end up utilizing that last session </3 maybe next one

i think cane swords are cool conceptually but i think nobody is going far enough, we should be putting weapons in more mobility aids. i want to see characters with bazooka scooters. crossbow crutches. service dog: with a gun. try petting me now, fucker.

some rambles:

i usually get projects done in a few days or not at all, but this painting was so infuriating i couldn't get myself to give up on it. i actually really like the final product, and i hid some fun symbolism in there for anyone who cares >:)

this is very much inspired by the art for "ALWAYS BE WITH YOU XD" by Tatsuya Kitani. go check that song out for a few dl pearl vibes but mostly for the sick guitar solo at the end c:
