Today marks the 76th anniversary of the Nakba, the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians to make way for Israel in 1948.
Over 750,000 Palestinians were displaced that day. This did not start on October 7th.
Know their history, fight for their future. 🍉

Indians, you cannot support Palestine without supporting Kashmir. Hindu nationalism and Zionism go hand in hand
Israel is the global right's darling because they see it as a model for the ideal ethnocracy they want to establish. So many antisemites are Zionists. The founders of the RSS (a Hindu nationalist org) fucking admired Hitler for doing whatever it took to "maintain the purity of the Aryan race" and look, their political wing the BJP (the ruling party here in India) supports Israel. Hindu nationalism is just recycled European fascism. India, under Modi, wants to do to Kashmir what Israel is doing to Palestine. The BJP appeals to the Kashmiri Pandit population, claiming that the Pandits will be able to return to their homeland to justify this occupation. Kashmir is literally the world's most militarised zone. The violence of occupation knows no bounds

The Fûqâha differed as to whether a Nîyyâh(intention) from the beginning of Râmâdän suffices or whether each night needs it's own Nîyyâh. Ahmâd and the majority held that specifying a Nîyyâh for each night is a must. This doesn't mean one burdens himself regarding the Nîyyâh and thus falls into wâswâsâh, since his mere getting up for suhūr is sufficient as his nîyyâh for fasting. Then Mālik and a group of ahl-al-'îlm viewed it sufficient to make one Nîyyâh from the first night to suffice the whole month; and a group of the Mûhâqqîqīn chose this.

Ibn al-Jawzi رحمه الله said:
"Endure the nights of hardship because if you look through the eye of patience you shall see the dawn of reward. Indeed the lofty ranks can be attained only by undergoing hardship! Did you not notice the thorns growing beside the roses?"
