Over time, your Facebook saved items list can grow to thousands of posts, making it difficult to find a specific item in the long list (especially on mobile). Fortunately, Facebook offers several helpful features for managing and organizing your saved content.
The social media giant took a break from imitating Snapchat and LinkedIn to imitate Pinterest and confirmed that it is testing Sets, Pinterest-like themed “Collections” that include status updates, photos, videos and links, and that can be shared with all friends or specific friends.
Facebook Collections are easy to use and don’t require any extra effort on your end. You simply save the interesting content, organize it how you’d like, and post when you’re ready!

What is Instagram’s IGTV?
“We’ve made it simple, too. Just like turning on the TV, IGTV starts playing as soon as you open the app. You don’t have to search to start watching content from people you already follow on Instagram and others you might like based on your interests.” Kevin Systrom, Instagram Co-founder (Blog).

Have you ever scrolled through the endless HR, PR and “networking” messages in your LinkedIn inbox and thought—there has to be another way? Well, now all those people you probably don’t know can leave you a voicemail.
Typing long messages can be difficult, time-consuming, and tiresome, so LinkedIn is rolling out a voice messaging feature that allows you to record and send voice messages that are up to one minute long.
By its very nature, LinkedIn is a professional site where mostly strangers meet to discuss job opportunities or to pitch products. On any other platform, we can see how voice messaging might be beneficial. On LinkedIn, not so much.

Let’s work or let’s play! Which one do you prefer? Always (and I mean always) we prefer playing. We love the feeling of winning, that smile draw on our faces when we get something at the end of the game. This challenges and feelings are enough to make a behavior into a habit.

You must have noticed the new privacy policy updated twitter rolled out on Tuesday. It comes after announcing they will increase the platform’s privacy and transparency settings starting this month.
“We’ve updated our Privacy Policy to make it visually clear and easy to use. You’ll see a download button at the top of the page that allows you to get a plain text version if you prefer. It’s optimised for both mobile and web..” Damien Kieran, Global Data Protection Officer at Twitter, wrote in a blog post on Tuesday.
The update comes as a response to the upcoming (GDPR) General Data Protection Regulation laws in the European Union that entitles people there new rights to access and delete data that companies have collected about them.
While the laws are only in the EU, Twitter says that the privacy settings and privacy policy update applies worldwide. It goes into effect on May 25, the same day the (GDPR) laws goes into effect.
This all comes in light of Facebook’s data abuse scandal, after allowing an app developer to scrape and harvest personal data from 87 million users without their consent and then give that data to the political profiling firm, Cambridge Analytica, who used it for the benefit of a certain presidential candidate.

growth hacking can be used in almost everything you want to establish. Trump’s campaign built over data ana A/B testing (your early product phase) so he gets all the attention from people, he speaks their language (know your buyers’ avatar and create content for them) so he gets the most engagement.
From a growth hacker to president .. what a career!

According to Twitter, a bug occurred due to an issue in the hashing process that masks passwords by replacing them with a random string of characters that get stored on Twitter’s system.
Due to an error with the system, apparently, passwords were being saved in plain text to an internal log, instead of masking them with the hashing process. Twitter claims to have found the bug on its own and removed the passwords. It’s working to make sure that similar issues don’t come up again.
“We recently discovered a bug where account passwords were being written to an internal log before completing a masking/hashing process. We’ve fixed, see no indication of breach or misuse, and believe it’s important for us to be open about this internal defect.” Jack Dorsey CEO of Twitter Inc. wrote in a tweet on Thursday.
Twitter’s decision to announce the internal leak is not a surprise given the increased awareness and concern about the safety of users’ private and personal data on social media sites after data mining firm Cambridge Analytica allegedly scraped the data of more than 50 million Facebook users without their permission.
