For Holden Caulfield
Dear Holden,
I know it is not easy to be in your position right now. I want to let you know you have my full support because I understand your difficult times. I'm letting you know how proud I am of your decision. I know it is the correct one. Facilities are a great option to move on with your life. Experts motivate you daily and show you how life has ups and downs. It is good for you to be there, you went through so much, and no one knew precisely how bad you were. Believe it, it is worth it. Your state is curable, there are many options in life, and you will be able to cure this depression.
To be honest, this is not easy for me either. It is painful to see one of your friends in this mental state, but I want to let you know that you will be stronger after this. You will know how to confront issues in life and learn how important it is to keep going because it is worth it. Always remember the purpose of life and why you are here. No one is born without a purpose. You came to his world to give all you have and show the amazing person you are.
Always remember I will be there for you if you need me.
I'm sure you will get out of this and recover soon!
Your friend, Agata
XOXO!

Hey J.D Salinger,
How are u doing? I'm writing to congratulate you on the awesome book you wrote. I mean it. It is cool that an adult wrote about teenagers and how this story can happen in real life. Ur a clever guy. I mean it. It was really smart on ur part to write about something many teenagers can be going through. This book can make people realize mental issues are important. U are one of the best men in the world. You have an amazing imagination and, at the same time, a talent to include many interesting themes and topics. In this book, I was surprised at how u give crazy stuff an important meaning. Ur a genius. The symbols are the cool ones. Everything I told u, I mean it, bro.

A little summary!
Hey guysssss! WELCOMEEEEEE!
NEW DAY, NEW BLOG!!!
Today I will give you a summary of the book I talked about in every blog hahahahah! You need to know the story of it.
First of all, some important information. As I said multiple times, the book is The Catcher In The Rye, written by J.D. Salinger. This book is realistic fiction and narrates the story of the difficult life of a teenager.
The story is about a 16-year-old teenager who was expelled from four schools. In the last one, he failed 4 classes out of 5, and that is why they expelled him. Before leaving, Holden stayed three days at the previous high school he attended. Having an unwanted conversation with his history teacher, Mr. Spencer, and because of problems he had with his roommate, Stradlater, about dating the same girl as him, Holden went to his hometown, Manhattan, earlier. The protagonist also had a neighbor, Ackley, who Holden didn't like very much, so there was no reason to stay. Upon arriving in Manhattan, he dedicated himself to meeting many people. First, Holden wanted to be with prostitutes, which didn't work out. Then he made a date with Sally, but it didn't work out either. He tried to call Jane, his old love, but it didn't work out. Holden went to a bar where he met some of his brother's ex-girlfriend. In another oportunity, he met Carl Luce, one of his old friends from schools from before, but their conversation could have been better. After the bar, he went to the central park to see the ducks and try to understand what did ducks do when winter came, as the lagoon freezes. When he got his answer, he visited his sister, Phoebe. Holden confessed to her that he was kicked out of four schools and wanted to be a catcher in the rye to help children with mental problems. His sister finds that he has never enjoyed anything. Holden decides to go to the house of one of his English teachers, Mr. Antonelli. Still, he feels very uncomfortable thinking his old teacher is a pervert for touching his head. He left quickly and stayed to sleep on a park bench. The book ends with Holden inviting his sister to meet and have a day together by going to the zoo and carousel. She wants to go live with him, but he confesses that he can't because he is trying to have a better life. Holden refers to checking into a medical facility to treat his depression and mental health.
I will be honest with you, this book has a lot of strengths. It talks about many good themes that apply each day of our lives, especially adolescents. We, adolescents, are sometimes afraid of change and like things to be like they already are. The same with the ducks in the lagoon and the museum in the book. Also, the painfulness of growing up. The stage of adolescence is really difficult. We are immature kids trying to understand what an adult is. We look for our personality, see what is wrong and right, and find a balance. Not everything is black or white; there is gray in life. So this book teaches us, especially adolescents, how difficult it can be, but there is always a solution. Another strength of this book is how entertaining it is. The narrator is the protagonist and uses a stream of consciousness, an uncommon writting style. It may be challenging to understand sometimes, but this book is clear and easy read it. Thanks to the stream of consciousness and the protagonist being the narrator, you can understand even more what is going through his head, his personality, issues, etc. With all this information, you know why every situation in the book happens. For example, when Mr. Antonelli touches Holden's head and he feels uncomfortable, you understand the protagonist feels uncomfortable with people with little confidence. On the other hand, he feels confident with his sister by telling her he failed school and wants to be a catcher in the rye. So yes, this book is cool!
As there are strengths, there are also weaknesses. To be honest, there is only one weakness. The book is really slow. If you read it, you will think the story lasts more than 1 month, but it is actually two days. It is good to be detailed and everything, but it happens a lot in only two days, so u think the book goes fast but actually, no. For example, the night Holden says goodbye to Mr. Spencer is the same night he receives a punch and arrives to Manhattan. That is the only weakness.
This book is amazing. All of the characters are different and have characteristics that make them unique. For example, Mr.Spencer saw a good side of Holden and wanted to say goodbye to him, even though he failed history class. He had the patience to talk with Holden about how his future would be if he didn't make an effort, even though Holden had left. Another example is Phoebe, his little sister. She was an innocent girl, but what characterized her was her honesty in telling Holden how he never cared for anything. At the same time, this little girl transmitted confidence to his brother, as she was the first person Holden told about his expulsion and wanting to be a catcher in the rye. Also, the book has great themes you can apply to life. For example, fitting into society. Everybody criticized Holden for not making an effort at school to not have a good academic status and looked at him as a conflicted person who actually he needed help. For example, his old friend, Carl Luce, referred to him as an immature boy. The last reason this book is really good is that it talks about many themes, topics, and symbols that have a meaning related to life. On more than one occasion, Holden's situation may be a situation from a teenager in real life. For example, being kicked out of school many times and failing classes is something any kid can go through, and there is always a reason behind it. Ducks are an excellent example of life and change if we talk about symbols. We need changes to look for balance; that is what life is about. To conclude, I liked this book because it talks about many things a teenager can be going through, which is a challenging stage. But at the same time, teenagers can take lessons from it.
I know this reflection is long, but I needed to tell u guys! Hope u like it!

Little reflection of The Cathcer In The Rye
¡Hey guys! How are u doing! I had an interesting reflection about the book I'm reading. I don't know y the protagonist wanted to be a catcher in the rye. It is really really really interesting, though. For anyone who doesn't know what it is, a catcher in the rye is a person who helps children who are in a difficult moment of their life and need the motivation to continue. Most of these kids are adolescents who need to confront issues. They have to mature and enter the phase of adulthood. It is scary to think that ur growing and responsibilities come. I don't want to think about it. But being a catcher in the rye is perfect for Holden as he goes through difficult times were he had suicide thinking because of the awful life he had. I'm sorry about him I really am. I started thinking about Holden and why he went to Central Park to see the ducks. There is a reason y the protagonist is so interested in seeing the ducks. I take this seriously and I came to the conclusion that ducks mean a change for him. I know it sounds weird as heeeellll but it is. Ducks in winter change to another place because the pond freezes, so Holden thinks of wanting a change like ducks. I still believe this protagonist is really weird, but that makes it a good book.
LOL!

The painfulness of growing up
Hey, guyssss!!! Welcome to my blog!
Ok, so today is the moment to review themes from the book, The Catcher In The Rye. There are many themes to discuss, but I'm interested in one. Many teenagers may identify with it. It is a fact of the painfulness of growing up. I know it is a little dramatic, but it is very important in this book. As I told you, this teen was kicked out of three schools, his parents were strict, one of his brothers died of leukemia, he didn't get along with his roommates, he tried to get along with new people, and the protagonist was in love with Jane, a girl who he really loved but it didn't work out. It is predictable how terrible the protagonist's life was and all the changes he suffered. All of these situations are a reflection of how growing up requires many new responsibilities. Holden is afraid to take care of new responsibilities and change his life into adulthood. He said in the book that adulthood is "death", meaning adults are people who survived the stage of adolescence and are thinking all day of ending their lives bcause of how difficult it is. To mature, teenagers must confront conflicts and relationship issues and realize what life is about. For most of them, growing up is not exciting; stress and anxiety start increasing just thinking about what awaits. This theme is related to the ducks in the lagoon. Holden is afraid of change, in this case, being an adult. For Holden maturing is all about harmful and painful things; the idea of changing is horrible and what his future is awaiting.
It may be time to see the positive things of growing up and putting them in a balance. Not everything is bad.
Hope u reflect with me, as many of us are teenagers growing up.

The Catcher In The Rye- The ducks
Hey guys!!!! Again a big WELCOME to my blog!
The second day of my blog, and ufff, I'm very excited to tell u bout my day at school! First, it is awful to wake up so early; why do schools do that. Teenagers need to sleep a lot; we are growing up and need to rest. It is horrible to wake up so early, you are sleepy in the morning, and u don't want to keep studying. There is no motivation. Anyway, I woke up, got ready for school and the first class was English. The miss introduced us to a new book, The Catcher In The Rye. Bro, I started reading it and I was impressed by how good it was. I'm not a big fan of books, trust me.
So… I continue reading The Catcher In The Rye in my house! I know it is boring talking about the same thing every time but believe me, this is different. Once again, I was reading this cool book from a teen boy who was kicked out of four schools. In one part of the book, he thinks about the ducks in the central park lagoon. I know this is weird, ur thinking, who the hell thinks of this type of thing. Anyway, he starts thinking of the ducks because the protagonist wonders where the ducks go in winter when the lagoon freezes. This means ducks change of place to survive. I was thinking and I got to the conclusion this represents fear of Holden of change. He doesn't want a change in his life because of the fear it will not work or will be a bad decision, like starting to work or trying to make an effort in school. Maybe he wants a change but is afraid of failure. He is afraid to make changes in his life to survive like ducks. These animals need to swim in a lagoon, and they can if it is frozen, so they move out to another lagoon to survive and have a home. Holden needs to change his life no matter what, to have a promising future, as Mrs. Spencer told him. Holden is considering what Mr spencer said to him about his future but is afraid his effort to change his life will be a failure too. Ducks also represent the balance of life; how bad depends on good and vice versa. For example, it is difficult for ducks to leave one place for another, but for a good cause, they need a home. With Holden, being afraid of failing and the difficult times he went through is the wrong thing, but the good part is the results if he makes an effort and sees how things get better.
I went too deep, but I hope u like it!

WELCOMEEE
Hey guys! Welcome to my blog!
Here I will introduce myself and talk bout a little bit bout me.
Ok, so…I'm a 15-year-old gurl who was born May 11, 2007, on a terrible night, the worst one, freezing. But at the same time a beautiful day, the best one… I know this is a wonderful day for my parents cause I came to this world. I had a pretty good childhood and a big, I think, one of the universe's coolest and most giant imaginations. When I was a tiny bean, just learning to walk, I felt people couldn't walk without shoes. Actually…I'm not joking. I know this is the stupidest thing u will ever listen LOL! but I was that silly and innocent gurl, hehehehhe. Anyway, I also took out the soil from the plants and ate it. Don't blame me; I thought it was chocolate.
I liked school in those times when we only played with play-doh, and the subjects were fun. I know, I don't need to remember how weird I was. The most innocent kid in the territory n odd as f***. By the way, with the years, I started realizing how bad n good life is, bcause it needs to be balanced in some way. I'm practically a chill gurl with any situation that comes, I'm prepared, but at the same time, I stress a lot. I think the world will end when something I care so much about does not work out, but I can control it. Many people said I'm a clever girl, friendly, extrovert, independent, and very sarcastic, hahahaha. I'm not gonna lie; I'm sarcastic, more than u will ever imagine, really….I use sarcasm daily with my parents, friends, and siblings. I'm always one of the most sarcastic people in the world. Anyway, I would like to study medicine at a good college in the future. u r asking why? The answer is really easy, my dad is a doctor, and he always showed me medicine cases or the anatomy of the body, etc., since I was a little girl. So basically, I grew up with medicine in my veins, and I also love the fact of saving people. I know doctors can't make them immortal, but they extend their lives to enjoy it a little more. Also, it is interesting what we are made of... the organs; anyway, I will not continue; maybe this is disgusting. LOL. For now, at 15 years old, I want to keep the good grades and have an excellent academic experience this three years that are left. I am trying to recover from my knee injury and this is one thing that matters to me. More grown up, talking about family, I'm not interested in having kids or getting married. I want to enjoy my young life, having my dream job in New York, hopefully, with an excellent economic status…. enough to visit other places like Italy. I want to work out to have a healthy lifestyle, for example, going to the gym, eating healthy, and enjoying all types of food. I want an apartment with my dog, a husky, btw. I want to go out with friends and have adventures before getting married and having a family. I think there is so much to appreciate alone and fall in love with ur own life.
that's it for today hope u like it!
xoxo
